Prayer poem

The Savasana Cryer

Dear Lord forgive me the wrongs I have done to you and your children,
and allow me to forgive all those wrongs.

Purge me of impurities like a sponge, and let my tears and sweat see a million smiles before they reach the floor.

Let my breath be deep and resonate within and let me value each moment of time with heartfelt tears of joy.

Let me speak and sing in tune with your breath and be effortlessly aware of
your true nature.

I salute the light that salutes within you

Stack of Stone

I stack up my bones into a stone Buddha
Without seeing him, I feel him slightly
Without feeling him, I see him clearly
I yawn, breathe, stretch and gasp for what seems
like a thousand years or more and then gently
settling into the here and now, losing my grasp
I respect and worship the ancient stone Buddha
