Pulled chest muscle?

I was doing yoga last week and i think i might have pulled something in my chest. I start of with doing sun salutations. I remember that day it was real cold i never warmed up before doing them that evening(i didnt feel anything after i was done yoga).I woke up the next day and every time i took a breathe it hurt in the middle of my chest a bit to the left side. I rested for about 4-5 days before starting again(my chest still kind of hurt) and this time i warmed up. It felt alright but in the evening time i felt like i couldn’t breathe properly. Then yesterday morning i only did pranayama exercises (kapal bathi and anulom vilom(alernate nostril breathing) then at night time my right side of chest started to hurt. And this morning when i woke up it hurt in the middle of my chest a bit to the left like it did a week ago but this time i doesn’t hurt when i breathe but kind of feels like i can’t breathe properly. What do you think is going on? Lets say if it isn’t a pulled muscle is this suppose to happen? I have been doing yoga for 1 month now it has really helped my anxiety and depression. But now i feel confused should i stop doing yoga and rest for a while since all this is happening?

I am sorry your chest is hurting. Actually a similar thing happened to me. Its just that i have been doing yoga for a little more than 10 years now. So i got a little worried that it could be something…also i have had a pulsating sound in my left ear. I went for a ear audiogram but it came out clear. My pain is more like a tingling pain and its more of a discomfort than pain actually. and its somewhere in the centre more towards the left. Could be a nerve pinch in the spinal cord or neck…i also used to carry heavy grocery bags and walk a lot maybe i injured my neck…i have stopped doing it now…hope you get better…
