Hello Hubert…Regarding your last two threads…
.It was this the P.S. Comment that I was responding to, in honesty.
Where you wrote…PS. Do not expect others to tell you what you experience.
Why?.
I was hoping that someone might be interested in something I know a little bit about, and perhaps offer similarities in experience or additions and perhaps I can offer a simple method for anyone interested.
Many of you write about things I know absolutely nothing about, I am not a Yoga expert, in the way that is expected.
My reason for joining was to offer a technique that is very easy. Easiness of application is something I think Western Buddhists, e.g. need…I have a very busy Western lifestyle of this century, so I try to be alert to short methods of practice. I wanted to share this.
My beliefs only come from personal experience. Born and raised in London, no Indian relatives here…I was a Christian in thinking…until my spiritual experiences revealed themselves as Hindu/Buddhist/Jain ??? I have an English blue eyed blonde Mother and a Northern India, Punjabi father, turban etc.I knew very little about Sikhism and nothing about the others.(Father and Mother didn’t put any pressure on us spiritually, ever.) I voluntarily joined Church from 6 to 12. But, my experiences at the age of 29, and since then, are Eastern…not what I would have expected in a million years!
So, I find that I have three possibilities I am left with to ponder about…to look at genetic issues, or reincarnation, or that the practice of using the third eye chakra is an Eastern practice that results in Eastern experiences.
One of them is responsible. Perhaps you have a possible theory Hubert?..
Ask me about other Chakras, I haven’t a clue. (I would have to look it up)
But I do consider I have practiced in a simplistic way, a form of Yoga for 39 years, that produces what is echoed in the Eastern practices mentioned.
My Kindest regards Hubert…Kareng
