Quote from 14th century. DO U Agree?

The Bible teaches us how to go to heaven, not how the heavens goes…

Galileo Galilei, 1579

Actually the quote seems not Galileo but instead Cardinal Baronius, and it appeared in a letter written by Galileo in which he quotes Caesar Baronius
in a letter to Grand Duchess Christina in 1615.

well, then Galileo probably repeated it:))

Anyways nice quote…

Poor Galileo. He lived in a brutal time. But lucky for us, his contrast was so strong that it allowed him to stand out and be noticed against closed minds and repressive doctrines.

poor we… this brutal time will never end…the form of brutality only will…

Galileo reincarnate, he’s burned again, and again. The same closed minds and repressive doctrines are present today in form of scientific materialism.

The next step is scientific spiritualism.

We have a family across the street that does the same. Their children are home schooled in the Christian tradition. I’m not sure if this is the reason, but the kids do not interact well with other kids in the neighbourhood. My kids tell me it’s because they are very mean, but I suppose they did not have the opportunity to develop social skills. Mind you, the parents do not interact well either.
