Recovering my eyes

My eyesight was excellent and i had absolutely none problems with it. Half a year ago after huge tensions at work (10 hours at PC every day at 2-3 months) i got floaters. Moreover it came with constant pain and “flashers” in eyes.
I went many ophthalmologists and they said my eyes is pretty ok, but they have absolutely no idea how to deal with the floaters as modern medicine in a whole.
I know that sometimes some people recovered from it so it is not irreversible.
I tryed to do Dr. Bates’s central fixation without success i might add.

Maybe someone faced with such problem and solved it using yoga, or you have any other advices where to look or what to do.
You are welcome. Thanks.

(okay so i can’t post url’s until i’ve made 15 posts so i took out the first h in the http:)

Yoga and meditation has helped me more than even know. Its helped more with the anxiety and derealization but it has also helped me to not give so much attention to a 24/7 vision disorder which is probably how it can help you too

It may help to contact a highly experienced yoga therapist in regards to instruction both on practicing Trataka to relax and improve the health of your eyes overall, and other forms of yoga for vision correction. I don’t know of any printed information, but have met a several advanced therapists who have helped people with various vision problems achieve successful improvement with time and practice.

Unfortunately I met them while traveling overseas and I don’t remember any of their full names or have contact information for them, but perhaps you could email some leading therapeutic organizations like the Krishnamacharya yoga therapy center in Chennai/Madras (www.khyf.net) , or maybe some of the Structural Yoga Therapy (Mukuna Styles) teachers on this board can help.

Please remember when working at your desk in the future to set a little alarm and at least take a break from staring at the screen every 30 minutes or so to do eye exercises, look near and far to you, or simply shut your eyes for a while and de-stress your mind and body with awareness. If your eyes are reacting this way, your body probably is suffering too. Look up some very simple postures or movements you can do while sitting in the chair every once in a while to keep the blood flowing through your body, and have someone instruct you in simple breathing exercises you can do there to. Remember to get up and walk around, eat well and smile often.

Good Luck!

Thank you, guys for your answers.

Yeah, im in search of any information about good therapy centers. I searched google, but i’ll be very happy if some more world famous/approved centers will be named couse im not so experienced and don’t want to face with charlatans.

Floaters as such are harmless. But yes you should take care of yourself. Doing some movement or exercise every little while should help.

Its harmless if we are speaking about blindness danger, but all of my life is seriously ruined by it, couse i can’t look at the world as healthy man does. All the sh*t (sry for emotions) are constantly inerrupting me of seeing this beautiful world.
Thank you for an exercise, i’ll take it.
