Sanskrit Name for Bunny Hops?

Hi,
I’m really hoping someone can help me. I have trawled the web trying to find the Sanskrit name for bunny hops, but can’t find one anywhere.

I’m putting together a pack of cards for children and I wanted to include the Sanskrit names also (It’s never to early to learn the right words, hey!)

I know bunny hops are a great way to build confidence and eventually help with handstands, and of course children do them anyway, I know my children do, lol. So if any one could help I would be so grateful.

Namaste

Many yoga poses are not classical so there are no Sanskrit names for them. I don’t think “bunny hop” is something that classically trained yogis would do in their caves in the Himalayas!!! I might be wrong though

You might find this website useful if you want to make up a Sanskrit sounding name for it (which you might not want to do):

Of course, it’s a computer program providing a word-for-word translation. There seems to be no context help at all. (I mean, what if Sanskrit has different words for a bunny that you pet and a bunny prepared to be dinner, the way English has ‘steer’ and ‘beef’. One of those definitely doesn’t hop, but the other might. . . )

have fun!
