Share Your Practice

So Kids i thought it would be swell to share what we do in our yoga sadhana - and why we are doing it! Who we learnt it from. How long? How many times a week, a day? and so on!!!

Maybe we can learn a little something? Can you dig it?

I share my practice here everyday.

Each time I post…I share my practice.

Each time I consider the effect of my words on the lives of others…I share my practice.

Each time I edit what I’ve written…I share my practice.

Each time I wait and hold my reply allowing the question to permeate my cells and process my reaction…I share my practice.

Each time I opt not to respond…I share my practice.

My horoscope today said someone would reply.

YAY!

So is your practice to:

[ul]
carry out the deeds of the bodhisattva and delay buddhahood?

carry out the deeds of the bodhisattva and make a bee line to buddhahood within this incarnation?

Carry out the work of the bodhisattva and attain complete enlightenment upon rebirth in a heavenly abode conducive to such activity?

Attain respite in a heavenly abode with subsequent incarnation?

Become a Deva?

Never to return?

attain union with the paramatma while embodied?

“other”
[/ul]

Some one said theres only one yogic goal - clearly there isn’t.

Clearly.

No spamming.

1 share down - 21 more shares to go. (although Gordon didn’t really share) From here on out I don’t want any funny business - you know what I’m talking about.

That means 21 more people - not 21 more posts.

I’m counting.

When we get 21 more ‘shares’ - THEN THE ANGELS WILL SING.

i thought Gordon shared quite nicely.

Actually Gordon hasn’t STOPPED sharing.

Where was this sharing?

We are still at 21.

When we get 21 more shares I will share and BLOW YOUR MINDS!

IT WILL BE EPIC!

But not till 21.

THere are a few of whom I’m slightly curious to see post in this here thread.

For a description of what i require to constitute sharing - please peruse at your leiuse post number one of this thread.

WUT?

I think I am in the “other” category.
I think I am in the “other” category.
Reason? Why do you yoga? To levitate?

Whats it called when you have clones?

Hell I can’t think of it.

Disambiguation? NO. Also your post does not meet my critera of sharing. I’m sorry rules are rules.

I’m doing stuff . . .

Blow my mind?
Epic?

I’m hoping with every cell that this is “tongue in cheek”.

21 to go then we will see!!!

Since you aren’t accepting InnerAthlete’s post, which I find valid as ‘sadhana’, then what exactly are you looking for?

this is good here yes. this is what i’m looking for ^

ohh look!

Ok then. My practice helps me go into those dark crevices that I have always been afraid of. My practice helps my see the pain in someone who snaps and hisses at me and love them more for it. My practice helps me accept and love myself. It helps me feel energy around me more acutely. It is a pursuit for me that has no destination. It make me one with my body, this vessel I am sharing this journey with (forgive the dangling participle). it opens me up to new colours, shapes, sounds, thoughts, feelings. My practice shocks my imagination, reins it in, and releases it at will. I can feel my breath, slow it down and match it with my pulse. It is ancient and new at the same time. It is calm and enthusiasm. But mostly, it is asana.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. In regards to the bold - I would suggest - if you are not already doing so - to also feel the vital energy within.

Have you done such a thing? Have you felt it? Really?

I accepted Gordons post. It has been accepted which made the number 21. Now that flex has shared a little the number has been whacked down to 20.

Shall ye be the intrepid one who gets the number to 19?

I promise to give throughout the course of this thread nothing short of MONUMENTAL - if you can dig that

Oh yes. Sometimes it tickles. Sometimes it hurts.

The nature of the thread trickles down from the nature of the OP which builds it.
