SI joint test

We understand that when we do the S.I. test, it’s good when the S.I. joint moves up – and it’s not good when the joint stays at the same spot or moves down. The downward movement is an indicator that the hamstrings are tight and pulling down on the sacrum. However, what does it mean when the joint moves UP? Why is this a good thing? Is it an indicator of a properly functioning psoas muscle?

Yes, to me that is the major indicator of psoas functioning well. Also it is a sign that vata is in its home in the pelvic cavity. Balance and stability are more reliable then.
