Sirasasanam - Help

I want to teach sirasasanam to my kids .

They are now 8years & 6years old.

Someone told me that I should not teach them now.

Would anyone please let me know what is the age limit for sirasasanam?

Much appreciate your reply.

Thanks

If you are not a qualified kids yoga teacher or qualified kids exercise teacher…then leave it to someone who is.

Thanks, Yogacambodia. I am not teacher, but I learnt the yoga from experienced teacher 10years ago. I could not find yoga centre close to my place to send my kids. I exercise with books and videos guidance.

Would anyone please let me know the age limit to sirasasanam

It does not sound right. Leave it!!

Up to age seven the asana practice is only playful. From 7 onward alignment and action are introduced.

Were it me and this were a thing my child had their own interest in pursuing, I would take them up into the pose between my thighs, no weight at all on the head. Should you not be familiar with this perhaps it is an indicator you are not the person at this point in time to facilitate such a practice.
