Sivananda ashram bahamas

Hi yogis:)

I was thinking about going to the sivananda ashram in the bahamas, has anyone got any experiences with this ashram or others they would like to share

Hi D,
how are you? I personally know about Sivananda Ashram. It is a wonderful Ashram you can visit and study. But, you have to go there with a fresh mind and heart that the visit is only for yoga or for your soul. Not for something else. Then, it is the right place for you. Otherwise, you will feel it like army training. I love Sivananda Ashrams!
You can even see it in my website.
with love,
Rajeev

Hey Rajeev:D

I want to go to a place that allows the spirit to bloom. I would love to mediate, practice yoga and be around beautiful beings all day.

Obvoiusly the location and weather will be nice but as long as i am blooming i don’t really care where it is

My teacher, Mukunda Stiles, is offering this upcoming retreat at the Sivanada Ashram, Bahamas. I can happily recommend studying with him.

Sivananda Yoga Retreat in the Bahamas is an amazing place. Whenever I go there, I always come back feeling rejuvenated and calm. I love that the ocean and beach are right there. I have heard some really top notch speaker here!

I have been to the NY ashram and I LOVED it! I’m also curious about their Bahamas location as I have read some mixed reviews…

I’ve ben reading mixed reviews about Bahamas Sivanada Ashram as well. I am researching Yoga retreats in the fall. Any recommendations??

i have spent a good deal of time in the ashram in the bahamas… what are your questions or concerns? they have recently built some new rooms on the beach which are beautiful
