Hello everyone,
I’m new to yoga only having done two classes with guided practice and a year of self exercise focusing mainly on Hatha styles of yoga. Last night I had an odd occurrence during the guided meditation portion of the evening. I’m not sure how to feel about it so I thought I’d explore it here with everyone.
During the first 3 or 4 minutes of my deep breathing I noticed my breath started to grow cold. Not in a bad or startling way, but just chilled to the tongue and lips as it exhaled. I was able to hold off from overthinking it as my girlfriend had stated I need to avoid during the process and just let things happen.
About a minute later I realized that I was experiencing the sensation of drinking. Similar to if I was drinking water with each inhale and exhale.
I’d never experienced this before and asked a few people who are more active in yoga, but no one had experienced anything like that.
Thoughts?
