Hello a.mi.
Thanks for that CBT workbook recommendation.
As for yoga, I’m trying the shoulder stand this week. It’s said to balance the Manipura.
Any other yoga positions for anxiety?

Hello, how wonderful that other ones, have chimed in regarding CBT, thank you Surya Deva and a.mi for you great contributions
Potential Energy, the method you refer to on that program is something called “flooding”. It is a very effective technique, but understandably, very scary and I comprehend your reservations. Thankfully, there are gentler techniques And as I said, CBT is contractual, no therapist that knows what they are doing would force a particular treatment plan on you without your agreement, as clients are definitely in the co-pilot seat in CBT.
Please do check if it is covered by insurance where you live. Where I am it is indeed covered by even the most basic packets as CBT is used in a wide variety of applications and as such is extremely popular (e.g., for burnout, and there are ALOT of people suffering from burnout and naturally, their employers want them treated and back to being productive).
I think Surya Deva and a.mi made good points about self-help if indeed this is not covered by basic health plans where you live. You can even email a CBT specialist online and ask him/her to suggest an appropriate manual for you.
Keep strong
