I do 5 standing poses(utkatasana, uthanasana, talasana etc) in the morning for 10 minutes. I eat food 5 minutes after that…no savasana etc …
is that okay ?
by the way in a yoga sequence standing poses mentioned above is done in the beginning ?

Everyone has to start somewhere and if this works for you then I am not going to discourage you.
However this does not look like a balanced practise: you would need to include a forward-bend, side-bend, back-bend, twist, balance and inversion plus some abdominal work for core stability. And that’s before you add in breath work and relaxation.
Is there some reason you only do standing poses?? Do you sees them as being more dynamic and therefore suitable for morning practise??
I have a slightly different viewpoint.
The practice itself doesn’t need to be balanced. Instead it needs to be balancING (for YOU the student). In some students a robust practice will absolutely be balancing for them. For others the sequencing requires more tailoring.
That having been said, it isn’t a matter of “okay” or “not okay”. Does it work for you in your body and your living? Fine. It would not work for me and generally speaking there isn’t enough going on there to consider it comprehensive. For a student (of mine) who is pressed for time I’d much prefer they do Sirsasana, Sarvangasana, and Savasana.
Without more activity in the practice you needn’t concern yourself with the absence of Savasana from a safety standpoint. However it is a wonderful pose that most of us living a “normal” life need more frequently. In that respect please do have it. But there is no safety concern for the nervous system because you’re not doing enough to get there.
In our practice standing poses general come after the opening sequence and Surya Namaskar. But few things are engraved in stone.
Thanks Inner/YogaPrem:
Somedays I do not not have time to do other yoga poses. So I do these 10 minues one which helps my legs/knee and my soccer game
At other days
I practise
standing poses = 10 minute
pawana mukthasana series = 10 minue
viparita karani, halasana and matyasana and savasana = 10 minute
no backbends, foward bend and twists and balacing poses( pawana mukthasana series helps in those areas to a certain extent)
after doing any yoga you can eat after 30 minutes. this time is good. and if you need to eat then you must take some rest.
Dear Layman,
If you are upto just a bit of stretching then for your soccer game you may wanna try supine poses , especially supta padangusthasana a-b, to ease up your hamstrings and halasana, you may combine 'em with standing poses.
Its better not to eat cold meals but with minor stretching you needn’t think much:)

In three hours time, body is able to digest most of the food resulting in empty stomach required don’t eat anything for at least 30 minute after the yoga

not sure about your case;) but for regular yoga practice with different poses, breath , ets, the meal is advised to be within 30 minutes range…but i do eat sometime just right after the real yoga practice…is it ok? i dont think it will hurt you if after the few standing poses you have 5 minute break to concetrate on your meal;) i’d say it is safe and ok
Thanks Chris/Vijay/CityMonk for your kind responses.
