Standing Postures

My current practice seems to be kinda heavy on the floor postures.

Does anyone know a good general all around stanind sequence. I already do a Sun Salute, so I was thinking something that includes warrior 1 and 2, angle pose, triangles.

Maybe even a vinyasa.

Hi Senin,

during teacher training we practiced following standing series:

Trikonasana, Inverted Trikonasana, bending forward to the knee (Ekpadhastasana), Veerasana I, leaning forward in Veerasana I and then bending forward into Ugrasana

I am not familiar with some of the asanas mentioned by veganlove?!?!?

You could try adding warrior 1 into a sun salutation as is done in Ashtanga yoga…but stay with the asana for several breaths.

After sun salutation try…
Triangle and revolved Triange.
Extended side angle and the revloved version.
Some forward bends…wide legs and feet hip width versions.
Some balances such as tree…

The best option is to GO TO A CLASS where a teacher can TEACH you some asanas and show you how to do them correctly in a way which will be beneficial to YOUR body.
