i have been doing yoga for a few month now and was wondering if anyone know what stretches you have to do in order to get your leg behind your head or if there are any good video tutorials? thx
If you’ve only been doing yoga for a few months, I certainly wouldn’t suggest trying to put your feet over your head yet.
Are you practicing a certain style of yoga?
well i havnt been doing a certain style, ive been doing alot of rodney yee dvds, but i have been a dancer for alot of my life and have a good flexibility allready i just want to take it to the next level.

Even though you are a dancer and might have a certain level of flexibility in your body and feel ready to do Eka Pada Sirasana, these are not the determining factors to teach somebody an asana. Every asana affects the physical body in a certain way, but that is not where it stops, it also affects your subtle bodies in ways that you may not be ready for. This is quite an advanced asana, not because of the difficult involved, but also because of the effects it has on the subtle levels of your being and for this you need a few more months or even years of purification through other asana before you can attempt this asana.
Please find a teacher, I am sure you as a dancer understands the importance of and the guidance a teacher can offer.
