Structural Yoga Therapy - Knock Knees

Hello All - I am new to this forum.

I am wondering if anybody can help me, I am having a real tough time with knock knees, all I want is to straighten out my legs and im willing to put in whatever it takes to fix them.

I purchased ‘Structural Yoga Therapy’ by Mukunda Stiles a couple of months ago online and have read the book through completely, however I am stuck on what to do.

I understand the three poses Mukunda recommends to practise, these I am content with, I also understand that these need to be done daily of which I am happy to do so. What I do not understand from the book is how long do I hold each pose for and how many times do I repeat the poses in a session? I have heard suggestions for this treatment that a pose should be held until the body physically can hold it no longer before switching the the next pose e.g. switching from left leg to right during warrior 2.

I am unsure of the structure of each session, for example what order do I do the poses in and does that ever change day to day / week to week? And how long would a session of yoga usually last for this type of therapy?

In the book it talks about holding the poses for 12 breaths at a time in the beginning and then to increase when more confident but as a novice I dont know how long this is.

If anybody has had a knock knee problem and treated through yoga I would appreciate any information you have.

Hoping for a reply, thank you.

I suggest sending a PM to Nichole, if she’s still around, and asking her. She studied with Mukunda.
