I asked
for a kiss
you gave me six.
Whose pupil were you
to become such a master?
Full of kindness, generosity…
You are not of this world.

This is lovely.
But suppose it were five kisses
would we say the pupil is stingy?
Or if it were seven,
would we say, “Spendthrift!”
This one would save that whatever the master of a kiss gave would still be as delectable full of rasa and the sweetness of sincerity.
