Here is a letter addressed to the entire mankind by P.P.Shri Narayan Dhekane Maharaj, one of the most revered spiritual masters of the Mahayoga Path, who is authorised in the Loknath Tradition to impart Shaktipaat Initiation to yoga aspirants.
Honeybees or any other living being has to put efforts to acquire the nectar in the flower. Similarly, Yogis have been putting efforts to acquire the supreme.

Yes, Mahayoga is an effortless Yoga Path as far as the the practice per se is concerned. As per ordinary perception “doing” is at body and mind level.
In Mahayoga however, these two aspects are engulfed by the higher aspect, viz. prana~shakti. This dynamic energy, being temporarily in direct interaction with the “seeds of action” or [I]“samskaras”[/I], produces actions that have no connection with ego and mind, the two preceptors of “effort” as we ordinarily understand the word.
