Both questions indicate that you like “intense workout”. But Yoga is just the opposite. Yoga does not encourage anything intense. Yoga is all about listening to your own body.

Soreness means your body saying stop here, take it easy. The issue present now in the society is that people want more and more faster and intense pace. That is how birth of power yoga taken place. This is not Yoga is for.

You has different purpose. If you are simply looking for flexibility and strength then better join Gymnastics. Hope you understand.

Thank you SohamYogaStudio.

I know what Yoga is for. ’ I ’ am into Advaita Vedanta and know what becoming one with the Absolute is, not from reading

On the phenomena level, I’m doing intensive road cycling where physical energy is a key matter.

There is a reason why I prefer to try to learn from members in this good forum what I asked

Thanks again and please excuse me for not being clear in the 1st place

Namaste.

No issues VS1.

Just to let you know that Prana can only be tapped in Yogic way and in its natural pace.

All the best.

The common way to access and manipulate energies of your human condition is through the breath simply because it’s the energy center that can be tapped consciously and unconsciously i.e. you’re able to take a conscious breath (mindfully) or unconscious breathing while sleeping (bodily), it’s this mind/body bridge/connection that allows access to manipulation all the energy areas throughout your being. To be able to manifest and focus energy at will takes an extraordinary effort in practice. My practice is common harmless but beneficial types of pranayama; due to risk involved recommendation is to find an in person proven expert from a lineage experienced in thousands of year’s trial, error, skillful techniques and comprehensive methodologies, not easy to find…I’ve tried.
