Thinking of becoming a Yoga Instructor

Hey everyone,

I am based in the U.K and have seen a yoga instructor course by a local authority funded group called YMCA who can offer me the training on an adult learner scheme, essentially it is free. It is legitimate too I have checked it out.

I was just wondering are there things I need to know before hand? It just says 2 years experience required. I have been practising yoga for about 8 years on and off, mostly off unfortunately, but seeing this opportunity has reignited a spark in me to help people with such a great philosophy and to help them keep healthy.

Yoga has helped me through depression and has made me feel amazing in different ways and I want to share this with other people!

Becoming a yoga instructor is more than just learning about yoga. It is about finding your inner-self and establishing your inner peace, and in the process of becoming a yoga instructor, you will not only learn more about yourself, but also achieve personal growth. The following are some benefits of becoming a yoga instructor.

• You become healthier and fitter

• You become more self-aware and confident

• You relieve stress and anxiety

• You get to know others who are interested in yoga

• You can influence others to follow the practice of yoga
