I just put up a new blog post that I've been grappling with for sometime.
I find it hard to write about certain aspects of the yoga journey.
WUTS SO HARD?
yOUR JOHNSON?
BRAHMACHARYA is the word ascribed to the general philosopical, and I mean foundational, observance relating to the YOGA - which brings the dreamed about success.
What does Svatmarama say? mong mudras there is none like Kechari?" among asana Sidda is KING,"among blah, blah, blahs Brahmacaryha is king, a

From PRACTICE comes true understanding.
not bye speaking about it. Not by dressing a certain way. not by expounding its richness -
ONLY BY PRACTICE
There is NO other way.
“have a good day”
I do both. And you’re right.
Svatmarama is right.
I’m just reminding.
and maybe he’s reminding?
One would know he’s right through practice of what he’s reminding.

Equinimity eh? That’s something I am starting to apply to my everyday spiritual (and life) practices now. It’s not that hard you know?
The problem with people, is that they care too much about what others think. I mean, we should respect others and their opinions of course, but we shouldn’t let them ‘get to us’…or even, for that matter, make any difference in what we say/do unless we want to make that difference happen.
When somebody hurts/insults me, before reacting now and creating a fuss…I will ask myself “why is this hurting me?” “why do I feel this way?” “Is what they are saying true (as it applies to me)?” I mean, if it isn’t true, why should I even give a shit? honestly?
“not giving a shit” is really easy. It’s a form of conditioned ignorance that doesn’t take much practice at all.
Doing this consciously, with love, doesn’t take that much of a transition. All it takes is to not care and surrender the ‘not caring’ part to your Higher Power.
That’s what equinimity is to me.
I encourage you to read more about equinimity.

What else is there to read other than Chapter 6 of the Bhagavad Gita?
I also don’t need to read about it anymore, but thank you kindly.
Judging from your post, seems like you have indifference and complacency confused with equinimity.

Indifference being that state which leads to equinimity, of course.
It’s the (in)difference between ‘not giving a shit’ and ‘giving one, but letting nature take its course and not straining your arse’.
Sometimes, it’s hard for me to explain myself and all my posts are open to interpretation…but then again, on a forum like this, I see that as a good thing. lulz
