Total Shoulder Arthroplasty. Greetings

…from Los Angeles, the most enlightened community in the history of the world.

I had a total shoulder joint replacement surgery last week. My x-rays looked like satellite photos of the Grand Canyon. Years of proletarian abuse.

I’m not concerned with healing. I’ve been able to direct chi with the mind anywhere in my body for about a year now, and when I send it to the affected area, it’s pretty painful, but a sure sign that the nerves are doing their job.
I do hope to practice yoga in the years to come, 2-3X/week, as well as my daily nei kung practice, and am wondering if anyone has experience with this challenge.
Thanks in advance.

How is the rehab coming? I’m considering a TSR, but am worried about ever doing a downward dog again. Are you able to bear weight on your new shoulder?
