For those out there who are looking for diet options and dont know what to choose i recommend you try yoga. i lost 20 lbs in 8month with a balanced nutrition plan and i feel great…any others out there have lost weight with yoga that want to comment?

I have been practising yoga for 2months and i have lost 3 kilos in weight. I am of slight build anyway, but the “difficult to shift” flabby bits have just dropped off. For 3 weeks of the 2months i was at an ashram which helped considerably, just eating twice a day, sattvic foods,with no access to chocolate etc,( although i did eat prasad twice a day!) During the 3 weeks, asana classes were for 4 hours each day. In my own practice at home i do 2 hours 6 times a week minimum and i see huge difference in my physical appearance, arm and leg muscles becoming more apparant and stomach very much tighter. I am primarily vegan and i think this has helped in the weight loss too. What wonderful side effects yoga has…:lol:
