How many different types of yoga are there? What differentiates one type of yoga from the next? Are they all closely related or are there large differences from one form to the next?

Thanks for the links, InnerAthlete. It seems like the more I learn about yoga, the more questions I have about it, ha ha! I came across several book and DVD recommendations in those various posts and I plan to look into them over the next couple weeks.
When I first developed my interest in yoga, I thought it was just another form of exercise. I had no idea how emotionally and mentally involved it is. It’s SO much more than just exercise!!
Update - I found a website that lists different types of yoga and explains the differences between them. I’m not sure if all the information presented is accurate, as I am just a newbie myself, but I thought this might help others who have questions about the differences between each type of yoga.
