I have a question regarding Uddiyana bandha. Is it safe/appropriate to perform this bandha while lying down. I find that praticing Ujjayi lying down gives much more benefit than sitting because I find it difficult to relax and therefore to obtain the maximum benefit. I already perform mula bandha on breath retention and constant Jalahandra bandha. I would like to do the Uddiyana bandha as outlined in “Light on Pranayama” but would like some input on if it is recommended while lying on my back.
