Upcoming weekend

I’m new to Kundalini. I’ve been reading threads, watching videos, taking classes and trying to digest as much information as possible.

I’m losing weight slowly and gaining flexibility.

From reading threads, I’m aware that baby steps are important as opposed to trying to hard and to long. I’m typically doing 10 to 20 minutes everyday as opposed to doing a whole bunch at once.

Next weekend I’m going to have the whole house to myself while my wife is out of town. While I understand the philosophy of not over doing Kundalini, I’m interested in ways to take advantage of this extra time that I have with regard to engaging in Kundalini and meditation.

I envisioned doing Yoga for hours on end and sleeping and eating when I felt like it as needed. Is this something that is possible for a beginner? Are there things that I need to be aware of? Is doing yoga for hours not a good idea at this time?

I would appreciate any advice. Thank you!
