Vedas,yoga and meditation

[li]Casteism and Vedas:This was ploy used by britishers and Christian missionaries to destroy the ancestral heritage of India. The varnna (caste system) to be considered by birth has been made by us post mahabharat war but originally the varnna (Brahmin, kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra) based on their deeds and not by birth has been made by God, as is also mentioned in Yajurveda mantra 31/11.
[/li]
Secondly, God does not permit to hate anybody on the earth and those who do, they commit sins. So as per the said Ved mantra, if a Brahmin’s boy does not gain Vedic knowledge and thus does not follow the path of Vedas but shows activity of a Kshatriya then according to Vedas, he is Kshatriya and not Brahmin and if Kshatriya gains the quality of Brahmin, he will be Brahmin not Kshatriya. So is the case of rest of the varnnas.Examples are Rishi Vishwamitra who was a king later on he acquired knowledge of Vedas and realized God and became brahmarishi, the nava naths etc
The basic purpose of Varna Vyavastha was to give freedom to an individual to choose his / her way of life. As a matter of fact it is because of this very Varna Vyavastha someone who was born in Kshatriya family (Siddhartha) went on to become a Brahmin (Gautama Buddha). The present day caste system is just a mere office environment that can exist anywhere in the world, where the peons & janitors are shudras, the accountants, clerks etc. are the vaishyas, the security guards are the kshatriyas and the CEOs & Directors are the Brahmins, & we can?t blame the constitution (or the brits) for the existence of this hierarchy or if a janitor or a clerk is discriminated by a high-salaried executive. A shudra in India is discriminated for the same reason a poor is discriminated by a rich anywhere else. We can?t blame the constitution or the Vedas for someone?s Ku-Karma.

Dear friends,
namaste,

we all are the creation of one creator, people with intellect , mind and devoid of self realisation has divided us on the name of religion. All our roots are connected with Tibbet, the history of mankind is not 5000 years old.

Post mahabharat war due destruction of vedic culture the world is devoid of unity though we are getting scientific, technological progress wealth etc. But mankind is still suffering in Iraq, in western countries in africa and every where religious hatred based on conversion and number game is on rise.
we are one and we have to realise the one who has created us based on hard practice of astanga yoga which tears illusion and makes you aware of inner self, god prakriti and lower species as per vedas.

The varnashram as per vedas tells that every individual as per destiny whatever he has achieved in present life should discharge his duties as kings, teachers, servents, doctors dutifully and sincerely remembring God, learning vedas and try to acheive God by vedas and yoga. Now i see no body discharges there duties dutyfully, the corruption, illusion is there due to absence of real spirituality .Dear friends in short i will tell what vedas are and we should try to be united
Vedas are the knowledge which emanates direct from God. It is also called Shruti because the knowledge was not given in the shape of books or by preach but the knowledge is originated by the power of God in the heart of four rishis. The knowledge of Vedas thus comes from one generation to another by means of listening. About 5,300 years ago Vyas Muni first time wrote the said knowledge of Vedas on Bhoj patra and thereafter it was printed in the shape of four Vedas i.e., Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda. So the collection of the Ved mantras written and thereafter printed in the shape of books are actually not Vedas but are called Samhita. After studying the Vedas carefully and doing ashtang yoga practice, some rishis wrote the books explaining the Ved mantras. Such books are called— “SHAKHA” (section) but Shakha is not Ved. In shakha, the preach of rishi or history of any king, public, man or woman etc., has been written whereas in Vedas, there is no history or story. Shakhas are famous by the name of rishis who wrote the Shakha whereas Vedas emanates direct from Almighty God and thus Vedas are famous in the name of God and not rishis. Aiteryo Brahmin (concerned with Rigveda) or Teiteryo Brahmin granth etc., (concerned with Yajurveda) have been written by rishis keeping the base of concerned Vedas but Vedas have not been written keeping any base of any mantra, etc.

As explained above that Vedas are not books and the knowledge of the Vedas up-till Mahabharata period was obtained by aspirants by listening only. Actually this is the fundamental of Vedas from a learned acharya. However, nowadays knowledge of Vedas has been printed with explanations etc., in the shape of book which is called samhita. Though it is difficult to understand the Vedas by self study yet one can try for the same and if he feels that he is gaining the knowledge then it is okay.

In Vedas, there are two types of preach — Vyavahrik i.e., practical 2.beneficial— pertaining to spiritual object and immortal. Practical means after gaining the knowledge about pious deeds, science and worship, the same must be observed in conduct. I mean to say that there must not be mere study or memorization of Ved mantra which will not serve the purpose.

Yes, Vedas do not accept avtarwad. So, Shri Krishna as mentioned in Mahabharata by Vyas Muni jee was a great dignitary and complete Yogi wherein Almighty God manifested Himself as is manifested in the body (heart) of a yogi. So, Shri Krishna was equivalent to God but not God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe.

Today to find real Guru is also difficult who is realised and knows vedas. But God directs aspiring soul. I am writing to kill our illusion and people who do not belong to my country should get real knowledge and should not get cheated. This is the darkest Yug as sages have described on the name of vedas, God and Guru you may get cheated too. As present age is age of marketing, illusion and materialism, so pray to God and everything falls in place, learn vedas and do yoga, God will guide you.

God in vedas have offered divine protection to souls following divine path of vedas and yogas. he will surely guide us the means to achieve the highest goal of self realisation and God realisation.

Dear friends,

The nectar and company of siddha yogis transforms the soul. One such towering highly emancipated siddha yogi was swami sammarth of akkalkot, India. People greatly believe gajanan maharaj of shegaon and sai baba of shirdi were there disciples.Lets learn about this Great siddha yogi and understand divinity , yoga and veda through him.A short biography for you all is here to spiritually uplift you:-

Whenever Dharma has been treanted in bharatvarsha, god has come in the form of an Avtaar, every time to save each and every devotee and protect them. It is for this purpose that Sri SwamiSamarthMaharaj of Akkalkot manifested Himself. He is the most famous Datta Avataar in the Sri Datta Sampradaya,
Who can adequately describe the glorious appearance of Sri Swami Samarth ? All human faculties fail in this attempt, at best one may give a superficial account. our mortal eyes can seldom hope to even see his glory - swami appears like a glorious sun.
Sri Swami Samarth’s Appearance :- Sri Swami Samarth is the extension of the fifteenth century incarnation of Lord Dattatraya, namely Sri Narasimha Saraswati. It is mentioned in the holy book “Gurucharitra” that Sri Narasimha Saraswati entered mahasamadhi in Kardalivana (near Shri Shailya) in 1458.
After remaining in mahasamadhi for over 300 years there was a complete transformation in the personality of Sri Narasimha Saraswati. That divinely transformed personality is Sri Swami Samarth. He emerged from an encircling anti-hill because a woodcutter accidentally cut through a tree and hit Sri Swami Samarth. This awakened Him from the prolonged samadhi.
Sri Swami Samarth looked like a Purana Purush - A Rishi from ancient times. there was always a “Tilak” on His forehead and his Body would be smeared with sandal paste. he used to wear only a Kaupin (cod piece),
He had a fine set of teeth and He wore “Tulsi Mala” (necklace) and ear rings inset with gems.

Sri Swami Samarth was an Avadhoot - A maha Yogi possessing great spiritual powers. He was always muttering mystic ‘Mantras’ or something few could understand. He was an Jnana - Murthi exemplar of wisdom and knowledge. He expressed oneness and kinship with all creations. His merge glance could bless His presence sanctify and His silence a sermon. His touch could trigger spiritual change and transformation would begin.
After emerging of Sri Swami Samarth from the anti-hill, He traveled all over the country. Little is known about His movements, as there was none with Him to record these events, (His ‘active’ manifestation was for 400 years).

Maharaj had stayed in Mangalwedha (a town near Pandharpur in Sholapur district). He decided to leave for Mahol via Pandharpur. After staying in Mahol for 5 years, Maharaj went to Sholapur and stayed in a corner of Datta mandir (temple). it is said that when Maharaj first came to the Datta Mandir, it was the time for the Maha prasad and the seats were laid. Maharaj went straight in and occupies a front seat.
The person in charge asked Swamiji to get up and sit at the back. Swami Samarth left the temple immediately and went to the adjoining “Muth” where He sat playing like a child near a pillar, A lady was wonder-struck, as she saw Lord Dattatraya in all His divine splendor, where Swamiji was sitting. She protested at His feet. (The pillar where swami appeared as Lord Dattatraya is still venerated). She went and told the priest in the Datta Mandir about her vision. The people in charge of the Datta Mandir subsequently begged to be forgiven.

The splendor of Sri Swami Samarth and his glorious mission became more fully manifest, after His arrival in Akkalkot. Sri Swami stay there, for 22 years from 1856 onwards till his Mahasamadhi, Teaching the common man spiritual precepts, Taking them to "POORNATVA" i.e. God. Akkalkot, formerly known as Prajna Puri (town of wisdom), The town gained special significance because of Sri Swami Samarth's stay.

People of all religions - Muslims, Parsees, Christians and Jews used to come for his darshan. He used to visit mosques and dargas, just as he visits temples and "Muths" (place of spiritual authority.) devotees often found him in various postures and poses; at time sitting under a tree, lying by the river bank, yet His appearance always commanded respect. Even those who saw Him for the first time, could recognize His towering spiritual stature. While His face was full of compassion, love and kindness, occasionally He also looked like a fierce lion; the Narasimha Avatar of lord Vishnu.

On the 3rd April 1878, He completed His mission on earth and took Mahasamadhi. His spiritual magnetism has not waned even now, as is indicated by the constant flow of thousands of pilligrims to Akkalkot. Those who go there for a Darshan of the samadhi, still feel the subtle power of swamiji. They feel a definite response to their prayers; Some are cured of their suffering; other find their desire fulfilled. More than that they fill guided onto the right spiritual path. Even though Sri Swami Samarth is no longer in bodily manifestation, He still guides His true devotees and manifest Himself even now !!!.

We are too small to comment and understand about jesus, Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Swami Nityananda, Swami Ramkrishna paramhansa, Lord chaitaneya, Lord Swami narayan, Rammana Maharishi, sai baba, swami sammartha and many more souls by our limited intellect and worldly knowledge. It is beyond our comprehension to understand the Holy trinity Brahma, Vishnau and Mahesh as spoken by Jesus and hindu shastras.

Dear Friends,

namaste,

Now a days there is lot of myth about indian scriptures. Some says bhagwat purana is the highest scriptures of hindus, some say hinduism has come from upnishads etc, some say tantra is a part of hinduism. The hierarchy of indian scriptures are as foolows:

  1. Vedas : There are four vedas Rig, Yajur, Sama and Ayur veda. Vedas are not written by anybody not even by lord, rama, krishna, Brahma, shiva or great sages etc. This Knowledge was imparted by Almighty God to the sages in the state of samadhi at the time of self realisation. Traditinally it was imparted by word of mouth and proper chanting to disciples by mantradrishta rishis. Vedas were first compiled and written by Sage maharishi Veda vyas around 5023 years back in Bhoj or Tar patras, he was the son maharishi Parasar and satyavati ( Granmother of Arjun), when mahabharat happened.
Vedas were the authority of all sages, seers highly emancipated souls like brahma, vishnu, siva, ganapati, rama, krishna etc.I have told you about this many times.

  2. Upnishad : The term Upanishad means sitting down near; this implies the students sitting down near their Guru to learn the big secret. In the splendid isolation of their forest abodes, the philosophers who composed the Upanishads contemplated upon the various mysteries of life and its creation ? whether common, or metaphysical. The answers were however not open to all, but only for select students. The reason for this was simple: not everyone can handle knowledge. These are the direct teachings of mantradrishta rishis to there disciples.
The composition of the Upanishads marks a significant and stride forward in the direction of knowing the mystery of earth’s creation and one comes tantalizingly close to the answers. Through episodes, commentaries, stories, traditions and dialogue, the Upanishads unfold the fascinating tale of creation, life, the essence of life and of that beyond to the seeker of truth.
There were earlier it seems 108 upnishad, now however only 18 are survived rest all were destroyed during invasions of islamic invaderes and christian missionaries. They comes after vedas in hierarchy. The 18 principal Upanishads are :
FONT=Arial Brhad-aranyaka Upanishad : The Brhad-aranyaka Upanishad is widely accepted to be the most important of all Upanishads. It has three khandas or parts. The madhu khanda contemplates on the relationship between the individual and the Universal self. The muni khanda or yajnavalkya is a debate which goes on to give the philosophical backing to the earlier teaching. The khila khanda tackles various rituals of worship and meditation.
FONT=Arial Chandogya Upanishad: This Upanishad is a part of the Sama-Veda (see The Vedas). The name comes from the singer of the songs (samans) who is called Chandoga. The initial chapters of the Upanishad, discuss the ritual of sacrifice. The others debate the origin and profundity of the concept of Om, among other things.
B Aitareya Upanishad : This one forms part of the Rig-Veda. The purpose is to make the reader understand the deeper meaning of sacrifice and to take him away from the outer trappings of the actual act.
B Taittriya Upanishad : A part of the Yajur-Veda, this Upanishad is divided into three sections or vallis. The siksa valli deals with the phonetics of the chants, while the others, brahmananda valli and bhrgu valli deal with self-realization.
B Isa Upanishad : Also called the Isavasya Upanishad, this book deals with the union of God, the world, being and becoming. The stress is on the Absolute in relation with the world (paramesvara). The gist of the teachings is that a person’s worldly and otherworldly goals need not necessarily be opposed to each other.
B Kena Upanishad: The name of this Upanishad comes from the first word kena, or by whom. It has two sections of prose and two of poetry. The verses deal with the supreme spirit or the absolute principle (brahman) and the prose talks of ishvara (god). The moral of the story is that the knowledge of ishvara reveals the way to self-realization.
B Katha Upanishad: Also called the Kathakopanishad, this Upanishad uses a story (katha) involving a young Brahmin boy called Nachiketa to reveal the truths of this world and the other beyond the veil.
B Prashna Upanishad : Prashna literally means question, and this book is part of the Athrava-Veda. It addresses questions pertaining to the ultimate cause, the power of Om, relation of the supreme to the constituents of the world.
B Mundaka Upanishad : This book also belongs to the Atharva-Veda. The name is derived from ‘mund’ or to shave, meaning that anyone who understands the Upanishads is s(h)aved from ignorance. This book inscribes the importance of knowing the supreme brahmaana, only by which knowledge can one attain self-realization.
B Mandukya Upanishad : The Mandukya is an exquisite treatise which expounds on the principle of Om and its metaphysical significance in various states of being, waking, dream and the dreamless sleep. The subtlest and most profound of the Upanishads, it is said that this alone will lead one to the path of enlightenment.
    B Svetasvatara Upanishad
The name of this Upanishad is after its teacher. It comments on the unity of the souls and the world in one all-encompassing reality. The concept of there being one god is also talked about here. It is dedicated to Rudra, the storm god.
B Kausitaki Brahmana Upanishad: The Upanishad has come down to us in bits here and pieces there. The core of the text is dedicated to illustrating the fact that the path to release is through knowledge.
B Maitri Upanishad : This is a comparatively later Upanishad as it has references to the Trinity of Hindu Gods (Shiva, Vishnu and Brahma) which is a later development, and plus references to the world being illusory in character reflects Buddhist influence.
B Subala Upanishad : Belonging to the Yajur-Veda, this Upanishad puts down a dialogue between the sage Subala and Brahma the creator of the Hindu Trinity of Gods. It discusses the universe and the absolute.
B Jabala Upanishad : Belonging to the Athrava-Veda this Upanishad addresses some questions pertaining to renunciation.
B Paingala Upanishad : The Paingala is again a dialog, this between Yajnavalkya, the sage mentioned the Brhad-aranyaka’s muni khanda and Paingala, a student of his. It discusses meditation and its effects.
B Kaivalya Upanishad : This Upanishad delves into the state of kaivalya or being alone.
B Vajrasucika Upanishad :Belonging to the Sama-Veda the Vajrasucika reflects on the nature of the supreme being.

The core of the teachings of the Upanishads is summed up in three words: tat tvam as? you are that.

Part II follows

B Puranas : The Puranas contain the essence of the Vedas. They were written to impress the teachings of the Vedas onto the masses and to generate devotion to God in them. They have five characteristics: history, cosmology (with symbolical illustrations of philosophical principles), secondary creation, genealogy of kings, and Manvantaras (the period of Manu’s rule consisting of 71 celestial yugas).
The Puranas were meant, not for the scholars, but for ordinary people who could not understand high philosophy and could not study the Vedas. There is an emphasis on the worship of Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver), Shiva (the destroyer), Surya (the Sun God), Ganesha (the elephant headed god known to be the remover of obstructions ), and Shakti (the goddess). All the Puranas belong to the class of Suhrit-Sammitas, or the Friendly Treatises, while the Vedas are called Prabhu-Sammitas or Commanding Treatises with great authority.
There are 18 Puranas : Brahma Purana, Padma Purana, Vishnu Purana, Vayu Purana or Siva Purana, Bhagavata Purana, Narada Purana, Markandeya Purana, Agni Purana, Bhavishya Purana, Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Linga Purana, Varaha Purana, Skanda Purana, Vamana Purana, Kurma Purana, Matsya Purana, Garuda Purana and Brahmanda Purana.
Of these, six are Sattvic Puranas glorifying Vishnu; six are Rajasic, glorifying Brahma; six are Tamasic, glorifying Siva. Vyasa, the son of Rishi Parasara, is said to be the author of them all. However there is still debate about this that it is written by vyas, my Guru says no Vyas ji only compiled vedas and wrote mahabharat.
Then there are Ramayana and mahabharat which are called smriti or History. Similarly there is manu smriti, parashar smriti, yagyavallak smriti. etc. The originator of tantra vidya is great yogi Macchendranath. This tantra vidya is not a part of vedas.

However as clearly understood the origin of all this is Vedas.Rest all are written by somebody. After vedas comes upnishads, to understand vedas we should read sanskrit grammar by Rishi panini, nighantu and nirukta grant.Different realised yogis have written different Grant in the regional languages of India based on there experience of god.So this knowledge is very vast.

the calculation of time as per manusmriti is : Yajurveda chapter 31, Rigveda Mandal 10 sukta 129, Atharvaveda 8/11/3-6 & Saamveda 617 already say that the knowledge of four Vedas is direct from Almighty God at the time of creation. Knowledge can be given only when someone gives knowledge to others. That is why before more than 5000 years Rishi Patanjali told in Yog Shashtra Sutra 1/26 that almighty God is the Spiritual master of all human beings. In the Vedas there is no mention of any sects & caste system. We the mankind are the children of only one Almighty God, our father. Manu Smariti is also a holy book written by Manu after studying Vedas. Manu Smariti give the proof in its chapeter one that the present time of the Earth is 7th Manvanter uptil now 6 Manvanter have passed. Those are Swayambhar, Swarochish, Ottmi, Tamas, Ryivat & Chakshash, now its 7th Manvanter. 71 Chaturyugi=1 Manvanter. There are four Yug: Satyug, Treta, Dwapur & Kaliyug.
Satyug = 17 lakhs 28 thousand years
Treta = 12 lakhs 96 thousand years
Dwapar = 8 lakhs 64 thousand years
Kaliyug = 4 lakhs 32 thousand years

The total of four yugas comes to 43 lakhs & 20 thousand years which is equal to one Chaturyugi. 71 Chaturyugi i.e., 30 crore 67 lakhs & 20 thousand years equal to one Manvanter & 6 Manvanter have yet passed whose calculation comes to one Arab 84 crore 30 lakhs & 20 thousand years. This is 7th Manvanter & 28 Chaturyugi & the present Kaliyug has passed its time of 5002 years. So uptil now the age of the earth & Vedas is one Arab 96 crore 8 lakhs 53 thousands & 2 years. Bhagwat Geeta Shaloka 8/17 also says about this fact. ManuSmariti Shaloka 1/64 to 1/80 also says at that time there were no any sects or caste system. And there was no any word Hindu at that time.So hinduism is man made

HOW MANU Became King: This was told by my Guru ji to one of questioners. I am producing it for your intospection as it is:
In the beginning of the earth, God gives knowledge of four Vedas to the four Rishis. Then the knowledge is attained by a person from the four Rishis and the person is called Brahma. The knowledge of Vedas traditionally was then obtained by Manu on this earth.

The said fact has already been mentioned by Yogeshwar Sri Krishna in his Srimad Bhagwad Geeta chapter 4, shloka 1. Thus Manu Bhagwan became the learned of four Vedas. In his time, there was no king of the earth so naturally there did not exist any law, order etc.

As a result, there occurred number of criminal cases including theft etc. Effected people came to Manu and asked for the solution to stop such violations etc. Manu was learned of Vedas, he knew everything and advised the public to choose a king to rule on the public and king only could give peace by enforcing law and order. In reply the public told that they chose Manu as their King. Thus Manu became the first monarch of this earth.

The names of planet Earth are eternal.Till mahabharat this earth was Known by its 21 names : GAUHU, GMA, JMA, KSHMA, KSHA, BHUHU, BHOOMMIHI, PRITHVI, MAHEE, etc.

Thats all

Dear friends,

namaste,

Most of you have asked what a realised soul does after God realisation.A soul once realised God after leaving physical body still meditates in that formless omniscient God A liberated soul is away from law of Karma and God as per vedas.I am Giving an account of siddha yogi swami nityananda , account of ressurrection after samadhi in his own words. Yoga is the only way to realise that formless omniscient God in whom meditates all yogis:

Continuing his northward trek, Swamiji reached Mangalore. He was still in his “Avadhoota” phase of life. Many of his devotees accepted him as an incarnation of God. Gurudev must have been about thirty years of age. One afternoon Gurudev went to a devotee’s house. That evening rumour went round that Gurudev had gone into permanent “SAMADHI”. Devotees and others gathered in the house. They saw him in “Padmasana” pose. They were keen to know whether he was alive or dead. They did the common test with cotton-wool and mirror. Some of them fetched some doctors. The doctors could not detect any sign of life in him. Finally it was decided that Gurudev has expired. The house-owner described the sequence of events. Swamiji had come, and after a while, he assumed the “Veerapadmasana” pose and then the devotee had noticed him experiencing some contortions. Then she saw a divine kind of light on the wall behind him. After that, his body went cold and rigid. The devotees who had gathered were in great grief and utter sorrow. Many of them returned to their homes, grief writ large on their faces. Some of them wanted arrangements to be made for the last rites. But the house owner and a few others wanted to wait and observe developments for the next three days. They said they were dealing with Sadguru Nityananda! Their opinion prevailed. And it came to pass that they were right. In the evening of the third day, they noticed some movements on his body. After some minutes, he became fully conscious. When he opened his eyes, his look and facial appearance were peculiar. He appeared as though he did not recognise anyone of them. The house owner devotee and others seeing these developments were beyond themselves with irrepressible joy.
After a couple of hours of rest, listening to the repeated enquiries made by his disciples, Gurudev said as follows: “This one went for a very good purpose. This one could meet many great souls. They insisted that this one should go back immedaitely”. He uttered the names of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swami Vivekananda and also Swami Rama Thirtha with particular emphasis. After that, Gurudev did not mention a word about that incident. Once Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa had stated that great Rishis after their physical death in the world, had their being in the sphere of “SIDDHA LOKA”. He had said that both he and Vivekandanda had appeared in the world from that sphere.
Gurudev would tell his devotees “You are all taken care with the eyes of a tortoise”. Thereby, he allied to the belief that a tortoise, from a distance would concentrate on its eggs and make them hatch. Only great Sadgurus have the ability to concentrate on their devotees at far-off places and make them capable of self-realisation. At times, Gurudev, would tell some of his keen devotees. The study of books does not accomplish much. The wisdom of the brain is very important. More than that is the nectar of wisdom gained through Sadhana-spiritual meditation". To some special devotees, he once said that Swami Vivekananda had said and taught all that was worth saying and teaching. He did not leave anything for others to preach". Once to a party of sincere devotees he said, "Study the Gita, learn renunciation, concentration and maintain a clean, pure “bhavana” and to the introvert Sadhakas, Gurudev would always advise, “practise intense meditation”.

Dear friends,

Further many times i have told you about sai baba of shirdi, now we should listen who he was and about his personality:
It is on account of Sai Baba that Shirdi grew into importance. Let us see what sort of a personage Sai Baba was. He conquered this Samsar (worldly existence), which is very difficult and hard to cross. Peace or mental calm was His ornament, and He was the repository of wisdom. He was the home of Vaishnava devotees, most liberal (like Karna) amongst liberals, the quint-essence of all essences. He had no love for perishable things, and was always engrossed in self-realization, which was His sole concern. He felt no pleasure in the things of this world or of the world beyond. His Antarang (heart) was as clear as a mirror, and His speech always rained nectar. The rich or poor people were the same to Him. He did not know or care for honour or dishonour. He was the Lord of all beings. He spoke freely and mixed with all people, saw the actings and dances of Nautchgirls and heard Gajjal songs. Still, He swerved not an inch from Samadhi (mental equilibrium). The name of Allah was always on His lips. While the world awoke, He slept; and while the world slept, He was vigilant. His abdomen (Inside) was as calm as the deep sea. His Ashram could not be determined, nor His actions could be definitely determined, and though He sat (lived) in one place, He knew all the transactions of the world. His Darbar was imposing. He told daily hundreds of stories; still He swerved not an inch from His vow of silence. He always leaned against the wall in the Masjid or walked morning, noon and evening towards Lendi (Nala) and Chavadi; still He at all times abided in the Self. Though a Siddha, He acted like a Sadhaka. He was meek, humble and egoless, and pleased all. Such was Sai Baba, and as Sai Baba?s Feet treaded the soil of Shirdi, it attained extraordinary importance. As jnaneshwar elevated Alandi, Ekanath did to Paithan, so Sai Baba raised Shirdi. Blessed are the grass-leaves and stones of Shirdi, for they could easily kiss the Holy Feet of Sai Baba, and take their dust on their head. Shirdi became to us, devotees, another Pandharpur, Jagannath, Dwarka, Banaras (Kashi) and Rameshwar, Badrikedar, Nasik, Tryambakeshwar, Ujjain, and Maha Kaleshwar or Mahabaleshwar Gokarn. Contact of Sai Baba in Shirdi was like our Veda and Tantra; it quieted our Samsara (world consciousness) and rendered self-realization easy. The darshana of shri Sai was our Yoga-Sadhana, and talk with Him removed our sins. Shampooing His Legs was our bath in Triveni Prayag, and drinking the holy water of His Feet destroyed our desires. To us, His commands were Vedas, and accepting (eating) His Udi (sacred ashes) and Prasad was all purifying. He was our Shri Krishna and Shri Rama who gave us solace and He was our Para Brahma (Absolute Reality). He was Himself beyond the Pair of dwandwas (opposite), never dejected nor elated. He was always engrossed in His Self as ?Existence, Knowledge and Bliss.? Shirdi was His centre; but His field of action extended far wide, to Punjab, Calcutta, North India, Gujarat, Dacca (Now in Bangladesh) and Konkan. Thus the fame of Sai Baba spread, far, and wide, and people from all parts came to take His darshana and be blessed. By mere darshan, minds of people, whether, pure or impure, would become at once quiet. They got here the same sort of unparalleled joy that devotees get at Pandharpur by seeing Vithal Rakhumai. This is not an exaggeration. Consider what a devotee says in this respect.
Nobody knew the parents, birth or birthplace of Sai Baba. Many inquiries were made, many questions were put to Baba and others regarding these items, but no satisfactory answer or information has yet been obtained. Practically we know nothing about these matters. Namdev and Kabir were not born like ordinary mortals. They were found as infants in mother-of-pearls, Namdev being found on the bank Bhimrathi River by Gonayee, and Kabir on the bank Bhagirathi River by Tamal. Similar was the case with Sai Baba. He first manifested Himself as a young lad of sixteen under a Neem tree in Shirdi, for the sake of Bhaktas. Even then He seemed to be full with the knowledge of Brahman. He had no desire for worldly objects even in dream. He kicked out Maya; and Mukti (deliverance) was serving at His feet. One old woman of Shirdi, the mother of Nana Chopdar, described Him thus. This young lad, fair, smart and very handsome, was first seen under the Neem tree, seated in an Asan. The people of the village were wonder-struck to see such a young lad practising hard penance, not minding heat and cold. By day he associated with none, by night he was afraid of nobody. People were wondering and asking, whence this young chap had turned up. His form and features were so beautiful that a mere look endeared Him to all. He went to nobody?s door, always sat near the Neem tree. Outwardly he looked very young; but by His action he was really a Great Soul. He was the embodiment of dispassion and was an enigma to all. One day it so happened, that God Khandoba possessed the body of some devotee and people began to ask Him, “Deva (God), you please enquire what blessed father?s son is this lad and whence did He come”. God Khandoba asked them to bring a pickaxe and dig in a particular place. When it was dug, bricks were found underneath a flat stone. When the stone was removed, a corridor led to a cellar where cow-mouth-shaped structures, wooden boards, necklaces were seen. Khandoba said - “This lad practiced penance here for 12 years.” Then the people began to question the lad about this. He put them off the scent by telling them that it was His Guru?s place, His holy Watan and requested them to guard it well. The people then closed the corridor as before. As Ashwattha and Audumbar trees are held sacred, Baba regarded this Neem tree equally sacred and loved it most. Mhalasapati and other Shirdi devotees regard this site as the resting place (Samadhi-Sthana) of Baba?s Guru and prostrate before it.

Dear friend a siddha yogi has to just manifest unlike we ordinary people. Read this and understand the world of yogis. Interpret lord jesus on the same lines

Dear Friends,

Namaste,

We have quite frequently discussed Bhakti yoga. What is this bhakti. This bhakti is also described in Samveda as this veda describes of means of upasana to realise God. Without Bhakti, your practice of Yoga and knowledge of vedas will not frutify.Lets hear a beautiful purport on Bhakti by great Siddha Purusha Sai Baba of shirdi. It will help you a lot in understanding bhakti. I will quote two incidents and make you understand what is the bhhakti by which God and Siddha yogis are pleased.

“Once a Soudagar (merchant) came here. Before him a mare passed her stool (nine balls of stool). The merchant, intent on his quest, spread the end of his dhotar and gathered all the nine balls in it, and thus he got concentration (peace) of mind”.
Mr. Patankar could not make out the meaning of this story; so he asked Ganesh Damodar, alias Dada Kelkar, “What does Baba mean by this?” He replied - “I too do not know all that Baba says and means, but at His inspiration I say, what I come to know. The mare is God’s grace and the nine balls excreted are the nine forms or types of Bhakti, viz., (1) Shravana (Hearing); (2) Kirtana (Praying); (3) Smarana (Remembering); (4) Padasevana (resorting to the feet); (5) Archana (Worship); (6) Namaskara (Bowing); (7) Dasya (Service); (8) Sakhyatva (Friendship); (9) Atmanivedana (surrender of the self). These are the nine types of Bhakti. If any of these is faithfully followed, Lord Hari will be pleased, and manifest Himself in the home of the devotee. All the sadhanas, viz. Japa (vocal worship), Tapa (penance), Yoga practice and studying the scriptures and expounding them are quite useless unless they are accompanied by Bhakti, i.e., devotion. Knowledge of the Vedas, or fame as a great Jnani, and mere formal Bhajan (worship) are of no avail. What is wanted is Loving Devotion. Consider yourself as the merchant or seeker after the truth and be anxious and eager like him to collect or cultivate the nine types of devotion. Then you will attain stability and peace of mind”.
Next day, when Patankar went to Baba for saluation, he was asked whether he collected the ‘nine balls of stool’. Then he said that he, being a poor fellow, should first be graced by Baba, and then they will be easily collected. Then Baba blessed and comforted him, saying that he would attain peace and welfare. After hearing this, Patankar became overjoyed and happy.

the other incident aptly describes another example of Bhakti. Though this thread is long but understand the wisdom hidden in it. The sai charita is full of wisdom which guides human life.Hemadpant has taken permission of writing sai charitra and baba has blessed him that he will Guide him in writing his leelas.

Another beautiful incident describing Bhakti is here for your benefit. The beautiful relation between Bhakta and siddha purush/ God is depicted by this incident of sai charita:-

Let us close this Chapter with a description of the Khapardes. Once Dadasaheb Khaparde came with his family and lived in Shirdi for some months. (The diary of his stay has been published in English in the Shri Sai Leela Magazine first Volume.) Dadasaheb was not an ordinary man. He was the richest and the most famous advocate of Amraoti (Berar) and was a member of the Council of State, Delhi. He was very intelligent and a very good speaker. Still he dared not open his mouth before Baba. Most devotees spoke and argued with Baba off and on, but only three, viz. Khaparde, Noolkar and Booty kept always silent. They were meek, modest, humble and goodnatured. Dadasaheb, who was able to expound Panchadashi (A well-known Sanskrit treatise on the Adwaita Philosophy by the famous Vidyaranya) to others, said nothing or uttered no word when he came to the Masjid before Baba. Really a man, however learned he may be even in Vedas, fades away before one, who was realised Brahman and become one with it. Learning cannot shine before Self-reaisation. Dadasaheb stayed for four months, but Mrs. Khaparde stayed for seven. Both were highly pleased with their Shirdi stay. Mrs. Khaparde was faithful and devout, and loved Baba deeply. Every noon she brought naivedya herself to the Masjid, and after it was accepted by Baba, she used to return and take her meals. Seeing her steady and firm devotion, Baba wanted to exhibit it to others. One noon she brought a dish containing Sanza (wheat-pudding), purees, rice, soup, and kheer (sweet rice) and other sundry articles to the Masjid. Baba, who usually waited for hours, got up at once, went up to His dining seat and removing the outer covering from the dish began to partake of the things zealously. Shama then asked Him - “Why this partiality? You throw away dishes of others and do not care to look at them, but this You draw to You earnestly and do justice to it. Why is the dish of this woman so sweet? This is a problem to us.” Baba then explained - “This food is really extra-ordinary. In former birth this lady was a merchant’s fat cow yielding much milk. Then she disappeared and took birth in a gardener’s family, then in a Kshatriya family, and married a merchant. Then she was born in a Brahmin family. I saw her after a very long time, let Me take some sweet morsels of love from her dish.” Saying this, Baba did full justice to her dish, washed his mouth and hands, gave out some belches as a mark of satisfaction, and resumed His seat. Then she make a bow and began to shampoo Baba’s legs and Baba began to talk with her and knead her arms which were shampooing His Legs. On seeing this reciprocal service Shama began to joke and said - "It is going on well, it is a wonderful sight to see God and His Bhakta serving each other. "After being pleased with her sincere service, Baba asked her in low and fascinating tone to chant ‘Rajarama, Rajarama’ then and always, and said - “If you do this, your life’s object will be gained, your mind will attain peace and you will be immensely benefited.” To persons unfamiliar with spiritual matters, this might appear as affair, but really it was not so. It was a case of, what in technically called, ‘Shakti-pat’, i.e. transference of power from the Guru to the disciple. How forcible and effective were Baba’s words! In an instant, they pierced her heart and found lodgement there.

This case illustrates the nature of the relations that should subsist between the Guru and the disciple. Both should love and serve each other as One. There is no distinction nor any difference between them. Both are One, and one cannot live without the other. The disciple placing his head on the Guru’s feet is a gross or outward vision; really and internally they are both one and the same. Those who see any difference between them are yet unripe and not perfect.

Read the nectar of siddha yogis, there you find how a men of God should behave. A men of God should never spit venom on others who doesnot agree with his perception, there life should be examplery like sai baba of shirdi, Swami Nityananda, gajanan maharaj, Swami sammarth, Ramman Maharishi, Vivekananda, Ramkrishna paramhansa, Swaminaraya, Chaitaneya mahapprabhu, Bhairav nath, Guru Govind Singh, saint Gyaneshwar, Gautam Buddha … etc… list is long. These great souls emancipated everybody equally by there god realisation. Religious difference of Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Parsi only bothers those who are not realised or devoid of self realisation. The self realisation which a yogi Gets after hard practice of astanga yoga wherein he controls five senses, perceptions, indriyan, mind is different unlike ordinary preachers of religion. In india you will be surprised to know never a Great soul has preached to kill another soul on the name of God or his name. The foremost desciple of lahiri mahashay was a muslim. Where as daily in india thousand people of other religion spit venom against rama, krishna and other yogis esp christian missionaries, the converted people of islam, chrisatanity . Without understanding God and spirituality we can not achieve harmony in the world today. Some time i will share with you all unpleasant facts of india which are bitter to swallow, but it is bare truth which is causing turmoil in this great land of Yogis. Nowhere in world you will find this long tradition of Gurushisya parampara, veda and yoga, though once upon a time this knowledge prevailed on the entire earth.

Dear Friends,
Namaste,

I have less time to spent with you all. In this short time i am sharing with you certain incidents from Swami Nityananda of Ganeshpuri’s Biography which i have downloaded almost four years back:
[ul]
[li]On one occasion, the Sub-Inspector of Police took him to the Police Station for interrogation and search. Interrogation had no effect on Swamiji. With a sweet smile on his face, he told the Sub-Inspector, “This one take all the money from inside the loin-cloth. You may also untie the loin cloth and look there”! This, the Sub-Insepctor considered to be very insulting and so Swamiji was ordered to be put inside the police lock-up. That was done, but lo! the next moment they saw Swamiji outside the lock-up. Once more he was locked up inside, but once again, he was a free man the very next minute! The Sub-Inspector and his men were exasperated. What could they do with such a man? Their only way was to report the matter to the District Collector. At that time, the collector of the District was Mr. E.M.M. Gawne, I.C.S. When he heard that a holy man had trespassed into government land and was making road in the area and also constructing caves, accompanied by high Police and Revenue Officers, he came to Kanhangad. He rode on horseback from the railway station, and was accompanied by his Alsation. When the Collector’s party arrived, Gurudev was in one of the cages. Mr. Gawne’s huge Alsatian must have got a scent of Gurudev because the dog went into the cave. He sat most obediently near Gurudev and that was the sight that welcomed the Collector when he also went into the cave. The scene was most revealing to the British Officer and he was non-plussed for a while. Even earlier, it was some kind of inner voice that had prompted him to take off his shoes and keep them at the entrance of the cave. He did not doubt any more that the man was, indeed, an extraordinary person. Gurudev welcomed the Collector with a smile and the two of them talked for more than fifteen minutes. The Collector asked Gurudev why and for whom he was doing all his. Gurudev Nityananda replied in English, “Not for this one, if you want you may have it”. Collector came out of the cave and told all his subordinate Officers that they were not to interfere in any way with the holy Swamiji and Gurudev could do what he pleased. When the Collector and party left the caves and got back to the Travellers’ Bunglow, they saw a new sign-board erected on which was painted “Gawne Road”. It had not been there minutes before, when the Collector was riding down to the rock. That was yet another miracle perpetrated by Gurudev in appreciation of the Collector’s good-will! Soon after this episode, Mr. Gawne became the Chief Secretary to the Government of Madras. Even so, he did not forget to instruct the District Authorities of Mangalore that Swami Nityananda should be allowed to live and work in peace and also that, whenever required, all help was to be extended to him.[/ul]Caves that Gurudev made are to be seen even now, as silent memorials to him in Sree Nityanana Ashram in Kanhangad. Gurudev once predicted that some day, great saints will live in those caves and inspire the birth of another Golden Era of Sanatana Dharma. The caves were made virtually by hand. The work on these caves was started by Swami Nityananda & completed by Swami Janananda. Within two to three years, about 40 caves were dug. They were properly cemented and plastered inside and out. Any visitor to those caves would be inclined to marvel and wonder whether those beautifully cut caves in red rock were really the handiwork of two Sanyasi’s, one of whom was also an Avadhoota & the other a staunch devotee of the Avadhoota & a spiritually enlightened person himself. Swami Nityananda did not consult an Engineer for a plan for those caves. Neither did Gurudev ask nor accept any kind of monetary help from anyone. They are a standing marvel to Gurudev’s divine inspiration and glory. Gurudev’s philosophy was:[/li]“It is all automatic. Never keep on thinking of doing something or the other. Whatever this one has in the mind, this one puts into action and accomplish. No one can, in any way obstruct this one from an endeavour this one undertakes”.
Gurudev used to call his caves “Sunrise-Sunset Caves”. There is day light in them all through the day. There are six entrances into the caves, three of them facing the east and three facing the west. Most of the caves were large enough for one to sit and meditate. There was also a well dug inside the caves. This was closed later, after the Master issued instructions from Ganeshpuri. Another well dug outside the rock remains the main source of water for the Ashram today. Now, on the top of the caves, a very beautiful temple that has the exterior aspects of the famous temple of Somanath has been built. In the temple is the most remarkable statue of Sadguru Nityananda made of “Panchaloha”. The statue shows Gurudev with his right hand indicating his famous “Abhayamudra”. While the work was in progress inside the rock, Gurudev often worked on the outside. The structures resembling steps and link were done by his own hand. When an ardent devotee, Captain Hatengadi asked Gurudev at Ganeshpuri what it all meant, Gurudev told him that it represented the brain.
Kanhangad witnessed many a miracle by Gurudev. He was very fond of the company of children. He would play with them and distribute sweet-meats to them. His divine hands would go up together and when they came down, there would be bundles of sweetmeat in them. One of his pastimes was to go for swimming with Harijan children. He convinced everyone that all children were the gift of Almighty God and they had to be treated like that. Both at Kanhangad and later on at Ganeshpuri, Gurudev made elaborate arrangements for feeding children everyday and that continues to this day.
On the sea-coast of Kanhangad, were many families of fisher folk. They are known as “Mukhuvas” in Kerala. Many of them were devotees of Gurudev and would visit him often in the Ashram. One particular devotee was a man called Poklan. Poklan would often bring food for Gurudev. During those days, Gurudev had given up the practice of using hand to feed himself, and so Poklan had to put the food in morsels into Gurudev’s mouth. One day, after feeding Gurudev, Poklan and his son ventured into the sea to ply their trade. It was evening when they called it a day and were returning . Most unexpectedly, the sky grew dark and the wind blew hard. Thunder and lightning and rain followed the onset of a severe storm. It was midnight, and Poklan and his son were at the mercy of the elements. Their boat was about to capsize, when Poklan, totally helpless, prayed Gurudev to rescue them. Soon after, the father and son lost their sense. In their unconscious state, they were dimly aware of some power coming to their aid. Another boatman managed to pull both of them into his boat. They reached the shore and when they revived to their utter surprise, found that their saviour was none other than the Sadguru they had worshipped for a long time! Both father and son prostrated at the feet of Gurudev. Yet another wonder awaited them. Their boat which they had presumed to have been lost, got to the shore and that too, with a large catch of big fish!

These are amazing spritual feats performed by Swami nityananda performed just 100 years ago, which will make you think.

Dear Friends,
Namaste,

Another sincere devotee of Gurudev in Kanhangad was Shri Devaraya Pai. This devotee has met this writer and has narrated his experience with Gurudev. During the time when Gurudev was cutting the caves in the red rock underground, Shri Pai was a teacher in a nearby school. He was a sincere and true devotee. Like Poklan, he too would bring food for Gurudev, which the great saint would happily accept. Gurudev had a special regard for Shri Pai and that allowed him the fortune and privilege to serve Gurudev. When Swami Ramdas founded his Anandashram at Kanhangad, Gurudev deputed Shri Devaraya Pai as his sole representative at the function.
Once four devotees came for ‘darshan’ of Sadgurudev. They noticed the total silence in the hall. One of them said “There is no sound anywhere! May be Gurudev is observing silence”. Another replied, “May be Swami is in meditation”. Then they heard Gurudev’s words as though in reply to their conjucture. “All that was over in the mother’s womb”. Those words conveyed a very great meaning. Gurudev at the very conception of his incarnation, was already an "avadhoota’ and hence, for a being like him, there would never be any need for prayer and meditation. The world is unaware of this truth. The “Avadhootagita” explains this truth in the following manner.
"Even my natural Self appears to me as non-distinct from the supreme Self: it appears to be one and like space. How can there be meditator and meditation?"
It was “Janmashtami”- Sri Krishna Jayanthi, and many devotees, in the Ashram at Ganeshpuri, were reading and listening to “Maha Bhagavata”. Other devotees were getting sweet meats ready for the occasion. Then they saw Sadgurudev walking and also they heard Gurudev uttering these words, “See Sri Krishna is walking up and down!” yes of course, Gurudev was the very incarnation of that divine being, Sri Krishna!
A devotee who had gone to Ganeshpuri for Gurudev’s darshan, could not find him anywhere and he was sorely disappointed. Finally he decided to return to Bombay after visiting the Bheemeshwar Temple. The scene at the temple surprised him so much that he wondered what was happening there! He saw the bright and shining form of Sadgurudev standing by the side of the Shivalinga, with one of his feet on top of it! And it was “Shivaratri” day! He heard Gurudev saying these words, “Shiva is gone. Shiva is gone”. Sadgurudev was veritable incarnation of Shiva and so, the contact of his foot with the Shivalinga would only add to the purity and glory of the Shivalinga!
Ever since Sadgurudev made Ganehspuri his permanent abode, it was noticed that drops of water fell down continuously from the ceiling of the Bhimeshwar temple on the Shivalinga! May people tried their utmost to find out the secret of this phenomenon, but they failed to delve into the supernatural occurrence. The Master would occasionally refer to this phenomenon, saying that scientists would come and hold the torch and see how the water fell; without saying anything more he would laugh heartily. When Sadgurudev attained “Mahasamadhi” the dripping of water stopped forthwith! The sacred ‘Ganga’ would oblige only when Shiva was present there!

[ul]
[li]Gurudev used to visit the Shri Krishna Temple in Udipi very often. The temple priests did not like that. They did not want the lean, dark man, who looked like a mad man to visit their sacred temple, particularly during festival occasion. It was their encouragement that made some mischievous urchins to hit Gurudev with stones. They thought that would frighten him and keep him away. People noticed this cruel treatment meted out to the Avadhoot, but they were also witnesses to the rare miracle of the stones disappearing before they hit the target! On some occasions when Gurudev was treated in such a manner, it was observed that the hard stones turned into sweet-meats before they struck him! At the same time, another miracle happened. Whenever such incidents happened, it was found that around the sacred feet of the deity, in the temple, many pieces of stones were seen! How could the ignorant people ever realise that Sadgurudev and Shri Krishna were one and the same “Sat-Chit-Ananda Atma”? Shri Krisha himself has proclaimed in the “Bhagavat Gita” that “the man of Self-Consciousness is deemed to be Myself”. [/li][li]All forms of life were equally dear to Gurudev. One day, resting in a jungle near Udipi, a big Cobra evidently in great pain appraised Gurudev. He took the reptile lovingly, in his hands and passed his hands over its body. Then he told the snake something and, very obediently the snake crept away into the jungle, with signs of great relief. While excavating the caves at Kanhangad, and also at Ganeshpuri, there were many instances of poisonous snakes understanding and obeying Sadguru’s instructions. He would tell the snakes that they were the cause of fear among the people who lived there and that they should leave the place. The snakes would do so. Once a golden hued serpent came to him. He asked the reptile to flyaway. The snake immediately flew away and disappeared. There are people who witnessed this incident at Kanhangad. On many occasions fearsome cobras would approach him and they would make peculiar sounds. "They are reciting “Datta-Datta-Mantra”, Swamiji would say.
[/li][li]Once Gurudev was asked about his walking on the water across the river. His answer was typical. As though it was of no consequence at all, he said,“yes what of it? The ferry man lost his fare-that was all.”[/ul][/li]
During his “Avadhoot” days in South Kanara there was a noteworthy incident at Puttur. There is a famous Radhakrishna Temple in Puttur. An ardent devotee used to spend his time in that particular temple and on the Janmashtami Day, he would spend all his time in the temple. That day, the devotee of Radhakrishna saw Gurudev making his appearance from the idol of the deity and coming out from the Sanctum-Sanctorum. When he saw Gurudev come out, he begged the holy Avadhoot to allow him to propitiate him, as the very God himself. Gurudev readily agreed and that devotee had the rare privilege and the good fortune to do so!

[ul]
[li]Swami Janananda had many anecdotes on Gurudev’s miracles. Human knowledge alone can never explain them satisfactorily. Every morning, he would go to the bathing tank and have a bath, but when he got out of the water, he would be dry. Not even the loin-cloth he wore would be wet. This was so even in the rainy season, when the rain poured. At Kanhangad, gurudev’s Treasurer was a devotee called Shanthi Swami. That man himself narrated on incident to this writer. Gurudev had to spend money in thousands for the making of the caves. Every evening, Gurudev would bring stack of currency notes to be paid away as wages. One day, eager to know where Gurudev kept all the money, he asked Gurudev about it. “Go and look into that well”, said Gurudev. Shantiswamy went to the well and looked into it. He could see many bundles of currency notes inside! He got back to Gurudev and asked him whether all that money was safe there without a guard to protect it. “Go there once again”, said Gurudev. Shantiswamni did so and he was astounded. Around the well, with their awful hoods up, were many cobras, gliding around as though they were keeping a vigil! When he went back to Gurudev, he was asked, “Now you know the place and about the guard?” No human intellect, bounded as it is with the limitation of human physical being can ever comprehend the phenomena that people like Gurudev could create. Even eminent men of science fail miserably when they try to delve into such secrets. Siddha yogis can make and unmake and change the shapes of things and even make physical objects invisible with the Speedofthought.[/li][li]? It would be wrong to conclude that only devotees of Gurudev found solace and received divine aid from him. There were many hundreds who heard of his divine powers and flocked to him. There is the case of a man who worked in a Textile Mill in Bombay. When his wife gave birth to a baby son after anxiously waiting for that event for long, the happiness of the parents was seriously hindered when it was found that the baby was totally deaf and dumb. Doctor after Doctor, tried but to no effect, and then one doctor advised the father to seek the blessings of Gurudev Nityananda in Ganeshpuri as a last resort. And so the young couple took their child to Gurudev. He advised them to bathe the baby in the hot springs for fourteen days. The parents readily commenced the holy treatment. The last but one day came, there was no visible change in the boy’s power of hearing. No wonder, they were really despondent. People around advised them not to lose heart but complete the ritual. So, on the fourteenth morning also the mother bathed the baby in the hot springs and they took the baby to Gurudev for darshan. The child, as usual, remained deaf and dumb. Gurudev noted the anxious little party and he said to the young mother, “Feed the baby at your breast”. No sooner was Gurudev’s sentence complete than the baby’s shrill cry resounded in the hall, for the first time in its life and it had a feed at its mother’s breast. The baby produced various noises and it was evident it could hear too! The happy couple prostrated in front of Gurudev and left for their home with a new hope in their hearts.[/li][/ul]OM

Dear friends,
Namaste,

There are three paths leading to Self Realisation and realisation of that formless omniscient God who is indestructible, everpresent, who never takes birth and never dies as per vedas are Bhakti, karma and yoga. The same has been preached in Geeta by Lord Krishna.I do not want want to write any of my opinion as i am not brahma Gyani but have the desire to realise him. Only the one who have Realised HIM have the right to teach us and we should follow what they have said. A beautiful and practical insight Given By Gajanan Maharaj on the paths to self realisation i am giving for our general benefit. In todays world everybody talk of self realisation but very few have achieved it, we should avoid the people such souls in this path.

Once Shri Ranganath, the great saint of Dhar, Kalyan came to meet Shri Maharaj at Shegaon. They exchanged their views on Adhyatma in their own way, beyond the understanding of others. Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati, born at Mundgaon, and living on the bank of Krishna, was a believer in the ritualistic worship (Karma Marga). When he was to come to Shegaon, Shri Maharaj said to Balabhau, “O Bala, one of my brothers is coming tomorrow to meet me. See that he is properly respected. He is most orthodox; so keep the surrounding clean and see that there should not be even a piece of cloth lying anywhere. If he sees any dirt, he will be annoyed, and angry like Jamdagni. These Karhade Brahmin, always clean, are amongst the most learned people and will never compromise on the discipline of religious rites.” This is what Shri Maharaj said to Balabhau a day prior to Shri Vasudevanand Saraswati?s visit to Shegaon. The next morning the Swamiji arrived at Shegaon. They looked at each other and smiled. Both appeared immensely happy. One was a believer in Karma, while other the king of Yoga. One was the sweet fragrance of Mogra and the other that of Rose. One was the Ganga and other the Godavari. One was the incarnation of Pashupati and other of Narayan resting on the bed of Cobra (Shesha). When Swamiji came to the Math, Shri Gajanan Maharaj was sitting on his cot and snapping his fingers. When Shri Swamiji arrived, the snapping stopped, the eyes met each other, and Swamiji sought permission, to go. Shri Maharaj said “Very good” and bent His head in consent. Swamiji went away. But Balabhau was confused and requested Shri Maharaj to remove his doubts. Bala said, ?Both of You have got different spiritual ways, then how do You call him Your brother? Please enlighten me." Shri Maharaj said, "Bala you have asked a good question. There are three paths to reach God. All of them take you to the “town” of self-realization. They appear to be different and so confuse the onlooker.

Rituals of “Karma Marga” are to keep clean, wear silk dhotis, not to touch anybody, offering of worship three times a day, fasting and observance of rituals in a strict disciplined manner. One who observes these things is a real learned orthodox. Any deviation or omission in this discipline will deprive him of the “Karma Marga”. He has got to be careful when treading this path. He should not hurt others even by words.

For those pursuing the “Bhakti Marga” their mind should be crystal clear. Even a shadow of an unclean thought will deprive him all Bhakti rahasya. Compassion, love and modesty must be his accompaniments. He should have faith in listening to scriptures and worship, and must continuously chant the name of (God) Hari. These are the requirements of the “Bhakti Marga” and the one, who practices it, will meet Shri Hari. In fact it is the easiest way of self realization but practising it is more difficult than "Karma Marga?, like trying to reach the sky which appears to be so close to our eyes.

Now listen to the principles of the ?Yoga Marga? The spread out of the ?Yoga Marga? is far bigger than the former two, but it is within us. The person practising the ?Yoga Marga? requires no paraphernalia from the outside. Whatever is in the universe can be found within ourselves, and with the help of those things within us we should follow the ?Yoga Marga?. For that purpose it is necessary to know the various Asanas namely ?Rechak?, ?Kumbhak? the knowledge of "Ida’ and “Pingala” the knowledge of veins, Dhouti and Mudra Tratak. The follower of “yoga marga” for his success should first have full knowledge of Kundalini and Sushamna.

The ultimate fruit of all these paths lies in self-knowledge; but that “knowing the self” should not be without the love for it. Any act without love for it is a waste. So it is necessary to protect the “love aspect” in all these three paths to “realization”. Black, fair, short, tall ugly and beautiful are the attributes to body, and it has no effect on the soul. Bodies are different but all have got the same soul. Likewise it is applicable to these three paths of Realization. Externally they have different appearances, but the ultimate goal is the same for all of them. Once they reach the goal, the different paths are forgotten. Whatever path one follows becomes important for him. Only those who fail to reach the goal fight for proving the greatness of some particular path. All the followers of these three paths, after reaching the goal become saints and then merge with each other. Vashistha, Vamdeo, Jamdagni, Atri, Parashar and Shandilyamuni, reached their goal by the path of “Karma yoga”. Vyas, Narad, Kayadhukumar, Maruti, Shabari, Akrura, Udhava, Sudama, Partha, and Vidur followed ?Bhakti Yoga?. Shri Shankaracharya Guruwar, Macchindra, Gorakh and Jalander climbed the great staircase of Yoga. Vashistha, Vidur and Macchindra got the same fruit.
There was no difference in their ultimate gain. The same traditions continued thereafter so, do not have any doubt about it. Shripad Vallabha protected the importance of ?Karma Marga?. The great saint, Shri Narsinha Saraswati of Gangapur, did the same. Nama, Savata, Dnyaneshwar, Sena, Kanhu, Chokha Mahar and Damajipant Thanedar followed ?Bhakti Marga?. Sheikh Mohammed of Shri Gonda, Anandiswami of Jalna, Devnath Maharaj of Surji, Anjangaon liked ?Yoga Marga?. And now at present Vasudeo follows Karma Marga. Many others and I like Bhakti Marga. Dhondibua of Palus, Nana of Songir, and Yashwantrao of Jalna are successful in Bhakti Marga. Khalla Amma, Saibaba of Shirdi, and Gulabrao have also achieved the ultimate realisation of the self. Adkuji, the saint of Varkhed in Chandur Tahsil, saint Zingaji of Murha and Tajuddin Baba of Nagpur followed the Bhakti Marga. All these saints had different behaviours, but attained the authority to become one with the God. It is not the path that matters, but the ultimate reaching of the goal is important. We, all brother saints, have come to this world to guide the pious men to the path leading to Moksha. They may follow the path of their liking and attain Moksha. Now don’t ask me anything more, nor tell anything of this to others. Let me sit peacefully under the guise of madness. Only those, having faith in me, and whom I love will get their desires fulfilled. I don’t need the others. ?Brahma-gyan" (knowledge of the supreme Reality) should be told to the repentant, and not to the non-believers. To meet the God, we must be firm on our path." Hearing this advice, Balabhau was overwhelmed by love; his eyes brimmed with tears of joy. All his body shivered with extreme bliss, beyond the powers of words to describe. Balabhau quietly paid respects to the great saint of Shegaon whose incarnation was for the sole purpose of the salvation of humanity.

I hope this nectar must have given you some insight into self realisation.

Dear friends,
Namaste,
God is one he is formless, never takes birth, he never dies. He is beyond laws of Karma, he is the supreme commander of universe. The creation is eternal. When final destruction occurs then souls and prakriti both take shelter within God. When creation occurs and functions of universe starts then soul according to Yajurveda chapter 39, after leaving the body, at the time of death, wanders in sun, moon, planets etc., and then comes on earth. It mixes within food grains and thereafter takes next birth. This process continues till final destruction of universe. At a fixed time universe is created and destroyed. When sattva, tamas and rajas Guna of prakriti are idle there is no creation. The non-sexual creation took place in Trivishtap, which is now called Tibet.
Those who adopted Vedas were called Arya being gentle and others were called Anarya i.e., Dacoits etc. When the people started increasing in number then aryas and anaryas started quarrelling with each other. With the result, Aryas left the place and came to the present pious land of mother India. So aryas did not come from outside as propogated by britishers and westerners who were biased and prejudiced.

The importance of taking birth in india in the words of Gajanan Maharaj i am pasting read it , introspect and ponder:

A poor chitpavan Brahmin boy, named Shridhar Govind Kale from Karvi, Kolhapur, joined english school and passed matric. Then he joined college but failed in Inter. While reading “Kesari” news-paper he came across the biography of Oyama Togo. Inspired by it, he wished to go abroad, for some technical education, Togo and Oyama did it, and brought prosperity to Japan by their knowledge. Shridhar wished to do the same thing for his mother land, but fel helpless due to poverty. Nobody helps ther poor. He then went to Bhandara tc meet his friend who was teacher in Monro High School there. He told his friend eveything that came to his mind, and he too appreciated the idea. But wha about money? Nothing is possible in this world without money and the people have to build castles in the air only.
Due to hot summer of Vidarbha, they decided to go to Kolhapur. Having heard much about the great saint, Shri Gajanan Maharaj, they, on their way got down at Shegaon to see the saint. They kept their luggage at the post office and went to the Math of Shri Gajanan Maharaj, and prostrating before him sat with folded hands. By his divine power, Shri Maharaj knew the desire of Shridhar, and said,

"Don’t think of going abroad. You can get everything here only. This physical science is useless, and so try to get some spiritual knowledge that can bring satisfaction to you.
By this advice Shridhar experienced sudden change in his thinking and that reminded him of one saint of Kolhapur who used to talk just like Shri Gajanan Maharaj. Sensing the confusion in his mind. Shri Maharaj further said, "Don’t think of leaving Hindustan, as one gets birth here, only after doing lot of good deeds. Yogashastra is superior to any other material science, and one who knows yogashstra will not care for other science. The knowledge of the self (Adhyatma) is further superior to Yogashastra. Try to learn that and don’t
go any where."
Hearing these words, Shridhar felt very happy and thought that the sun of thinking that had set in the west rose again in the east to make him happy. Only saints can bring about such transformation of thoughts, because they know the Truth.
Dear friends soul migrates from land to land, planets to planet till it achieves liberation.Today you have taken birth in america, next time you will take birth somewhere else and so on… a soul keeps on reaping the harvest of karmas and desires. Death is unreal. Its body only which dies not soul.we all are eternal and immortal souls. This beautiful explanation by Gajanan Maharaj will further prove this:

Next year Shri Samartha came to Balkrishana at Balapur for Das navami. At that place there were His two most devoted devotees - SukIal and Balkrishna. Bhaskar Patil, Balabhau, Pitamber, Ganu, jagdeo and Dindokar accompanied Shri Maharaj. The celebration of Dasnavami was most satisfying, but fate had something else in store for Bhaskara. A rabid dog bit him and people were afraid that he would soon go rabid. All the possible treatment was given to him, and it was also suggested that he be taken to some doctor. But Bhaskar said that he did not need any doctor as Shri Maharaj was his real doctor to whom he wanted to be taken soon. Accordingly Bhaskar was brought before Shri Maharaj and Balabhau narrated him everything about the dog bite. Shri Maharaj heard and smilingly said,

“Nobody can escape the effects of murder, enmity and debt. This Bhaskar removed the wickedness of Shukhlal’s cow at Shegaon, and that wickedness has now come in the form of the dog to bite him. Bhaskar is so selfish that he had requested me to remove that wickedness from the cow so that he could get her milk for himself. You enjoyed drinking her milk, and now feel sorry for
the dog bite. Do you want me to save you? Be frank. This dog bite is only an excuse to end your life. Your life is now over, and soon you have to leave this material world. If you wish to live more, I can save you, but that will be a sort of give and take affair in this illusive world. So be quick and let me know your mind. You will not get such chance again.”

Bhaskar said, “I am an ignorant child of yours. You do whatever is good for me. Shri Tukaram, in his Abhang has said that mother only understands everything that is good for her child. I am your child, so why should I request You 7 You are the ocean of all knowledge and know everything.”

Hearing this, Shri Maharaj felt very happy, as truth always satisfies people who are themselves truthful. Some devotees requested Shri Maharaj to save Bhaskar as he was one of the most dedicated disciple.

Shri Maharaj said, “Gentlemen, it is your ignorance that makes you say so.
Know that, this life and death itself is unreal. Nobody is born and nobody dies.
The intellectuals have advised the knowledge of the Supreme self to
understand this illusion. You cannot be liberated from the present life, without suffering the effects of your deeds of previous life. You do something in you past life and take birth to suffer the effects of those deeds and again to take birth for the deeds of present life and so on the cycle goes on. How long will you continue this chain? Bhaskar has finished suffering the effects of the deeds of his past life and now is liberated to attain Moksha (to merge with the Brahma). So please do not come in his way, let him go. It is difficult to get a devotee like Bhaskar. Know that, this dog was his enemy in the previous life and so it has bitten him in this life at Balapur. The revenge is over. But if this incident leaves any bitterness in the mind of Bhaskar, it will be a cause for another birth to him to avenge the bite. So understand that, as at today, the enmity of the previous life is over and Bhaskar is cleansed of all effects of that life. He is left with two more months of life, and I will save his from the effects of that dog bite for two months. If I do not do that he will have to take birth again and live for two months.”

So me people were unable to understand this supreme knowledge given out
by Shri Maharaj, but Balabhau could comprehend and so was happy. He praised Bhaskar again and again for his sincere devotion to the saint and thereby againing the ultimate liberation from the cycle of life and death.

Dear friends,
Namaste,

For your benefit I am giving the time management as per vedas by Guruji Swami ramswarup ji:

Yajurveda mantra 3/6 states that the earth resolves around the Sun, with the result time calculation is made. Atharvaveda mantra 9/9/11, 12, 13 and 14 state about the kaalchakra (cycle of time). Atharvaveda kand 19, sukta 53 and sukta 54 tell about cycle of time (kaal chakra). So the study of said mantras will give the knowledge of time management. In Yajurveda the life has been divided into four parts i.e., Brahamcharya, Grahasth, Vanprastha and Sanyas. Every ashram requires the knowledge of time management for which the said Ved mantras are required to be studied deeply. And every second of the life must be utilized to discharge our moral duties. For example- earth is moving, wind is blowing and both do not take rest. In Vedas, it is told clearly that morning meets night and night meets morning and such cycle never ends. Similarly, a man work restlessly/continuously without break. Though night has been earmarked by God for rest. Yet nidra has been called a vritti which has to be controlled by an aspirant.

Misuse of time doesn’t allow us to know the value of time for effective time management. Such knowledge is attained by spending time with a learned acharya who teaches special knowledge of prannayam and meditation by which aspirant becomes able to gain divine knowledge which helps the aspirant to manage time effectively. Really a sharp mind (in yog shastra sutra 1/48 it is called Ritambhra Tatra Pragya i.e., extra ordinary, intellectual mind) only knows the essence of time management. Suppose, any individual having normal knowledge is allotted duties to discharge within a stimulated time then he will not be able to get success.)

Atharvaveda mantra 4/1/4 states that Almighty God establishes the heavenly bodies emitting light as well as the earth and maintains the same under His rules. God provides the souls with different types of bodies based on the pious deeds or sins of the souls as mentioned in Rigveda Mandal10, Sukta 129. Accordingly, He (God) gives the mind (brilliant, less brilliant, dull etc.) to the human beings. But this is clarified in all four Vedas that our present, pious deeds and worship of God obliterates our sins and makes our mind sharp or brilliant. So shaping of our destiny is given by God in our hands because God helps those who help themselves.

As said in Yog Shastra sutra 1/48- Ritambhara (established in truth and knows about truth and falsehood well) Tatra (i.e., hard working devotee’s) Pragya (special, sharp mind/ intellect). So, as said above, even a dull mind given by God can be made extraordinarily, brilliant by present pious deeds. And only brilliant mind knows the value of time and therefore makes the best utilization of time. Such brilliant mind has full concentration on any point or matter of the world. But such mind is obtained by doing hard practice of Yam, niyam, asan, prannayam, pratyahar, dharnna, dhyan, Samadhi and study under guidance of an acharya/instructor, so spiritualism is first priority to obtain ill-free sharp, brilliant mind capable of managing time well.

Here I would like to state that Yajurveda mantra 40/14 preaches to achieve success in both paths simultaneously i.e., spiritualism as well as pious, worldly matters like progress in science, army and civil duties, agriculture and millions of worldly pious matters for which a pure, sharp mind is required, to manage the time properly. So, there is no doubt that without devoting time in real worship of God, devoting time only in materialistic pursuits will never be successful and will never give peace - this being the order of Almighty God. This is the reason that the time managed by higher authorities is not being properly used, indulging in laziness, fraud, corruption, bribery tensions, sensual pleasure, injustice, selfishness, etc.

It is unfortunate that spiritualism is being considered as personal matter, it is often not preached in schools colleges and universities. Even discussion on spiritualism in any establishment often makes spending fun on the speaker that is why, high education is gained and high posts are obtained but without peace, brotherhood, cooperation and ill-free, happy life. In the previous yugas (period) it was seen that the said vices did not exist religion being essential since birth and that is why, Sri Ram, Dashrath, Pandavas and ancient kings along with their subjects used to go to gurukuls since childhood to learn spiritualism as well as other subjects of science, geography etc., they really knew the essence of time management.

I have used both words - spiritual acharya and educated, experienced instructor teacher, etc. For example - Rigveda mantra 1/1/1 states to worship the formless, Almighty God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe and who is the donor of all types of assets even under the guidance of acharya /guru. The said preach relates to spiritualism.

Now Rigveda and other three Vedas state about all types of science. Rigveda mantra
1/34/1 states that human beings must work hard day and night. They must study the science and prepare aeroplanes, ships and vehicles to run on the road.

Rigveda mantra 1/33/14 states that like the sun whose ray of light attacks the clouds and causes rain and gives the pleasure to human beings a good trained army officer must train the army with his sharp and concentrated mind to destroy the enemies to protect the public to enable them to live peacefully. Next mantra states that the army commander must punish the culprits and enemies to protect the gentle public.

Fickle/unsteady mind of any soldiers/civil person always wanders hither and thither and loses physical as well as mental strength due to lack of concentration while working on a subject/matter so he will not be able to deal with the war situation honestly, faithfully and successfully because he has to take several decisions within a short span of time. A stable, steadfast mind works like the example of sun rays. These rays when are observed by a person on the earth, are not so harmful as compared to those ray which pass through convex lens and are taken as convergent beam on the body of a person. Because the several scattered rays are converged into a coherent beam after passing through convex lens. Such rays have been united on a point and thus have become powerful. So is the case of a human being, when a person has not controlled his chitta vritti.

YOGAH CHITTA VRITTI NIRODHAH

Meaning— yogah= yoga, chitta=combination of intellect, egotism and Mann, i.e., faculty which receives knowledge from five senses and passes the same to intellect. Vritti=effect of various forms, nirodhah= stoppage.

And thus has not been able to concentrate his mind on a particular task/ matter (one or more) he loses mental and physical power and is not able to make the best utilization of time as to achieve success. You see in the matter of leaders, army officers, police officers, scientists journalists, judges, advocates and teachers, instructors and several other intellectuals it is most essential that they have concentration, mental as well as physical power and ability to reach at the best decisions while doing duties to save the country within shortest possible time and thus to build a strong nation.

Vedas tell that such sharp and mind with full concentration is obtained by an aspirant when he works hard under guidance, obeying the order of acharya/instructor. When he becomes able to concentrate his mind then only he becomes able to discharge his duties faithfully and to reach at best decision regarding several entrusted duties within shortest time. Such person will never take a wrong decision etc., he always gains victory and is not defeated.

Such person is always away from the bad thoughts due to the best result of his training under guidance of spiritual acharya as well as instructor/trainer (the said instructor/trainer could have also attained the spiritual knowledge just like Sri Ram etc., mentioned above because due to lack of practice of Yam, Niyam, asan, prannayam, pratyahar, dharnna, dhyan and Samadhi as I have already told above. It is not possible that a person would be able to concentrate his mind to discharge his duties faithfully). Yajurveda mantra 10/72 and 73 state that such well trained person is always away from attachment, hatred, jealousy, ego, pride, injustice, corruption selfishness, sensuality, etc.

The army and public of kings like Harishchandra, Dashrath, Pandavas are the examples of such stable and religious mind. They used to discharge their national and social obligations faithfully. There never occurred any instance of suicide, disobeying of seniors/elders, jealousy, etc.

They even used to stay away from their families for a long period of time but due to the stable/righteous mind and knowing the importance as well as aim of human life, they never got frustrated, etc. They utilized the time of separation from families very patiently and peacefully.

Dear friends,
Namaste,

rest of the article for you all:

Rigveda mantra 1/95/7 states that at a stipulated time, the universe is created by God and sun, moon and each matter of the universe comes into existence. When the sun rises and sets at proper time the seasons occur at proper time.

So a person after being a learned as told above, very well knows the essence of time management. One should learn from the sun, seasons and other divine activities of universe which occur within stipulated time. So we must also do our duties/ job fixing a time limit, for which we must practice hard.

Rigveda mantra 1/95/8 states that it is only time which introduces us the person/each materialistic article of the universe. I mean to say at the time of final destruction, universe is destroyed and turns into prakriti. Prakriti is invisible being in minutest form. At a proper time, God’s power works in Prakriti and again universe is created. So it is time which gives the bodies to the souls and human beings become able to meet with parents and others and come to know about each article of universe. So we must not waste the time and shun laziness, do hard work and pious deeds for benefit for self and others.

Yajurveda mantra 18/23 states that those who discharge their duties/deeds within a stipulated time and adopt a righteous/religious path, they always attain proficiency in their task. So laziness is strictly prohibited by Vedas.

A person acquires a sharp mind well established/stabilized in religion i.e., having complete insight into righteousness. This acquisition is possible by way of listening of Vedas, during hard ashtang yoga practice and seeking shelter/guidance of learned acharya. So, based on the previous lives’ deeds and study done in present life, the knowledge generates within heart automatically. Such sharp mind shall automatically be able to manage the time well and will reach at correct decisions to tackle several matters within short period of time.

Hence, it may also be concluded that mind which has not been made sharp by studies and spiritualism will reach at incorrect decisions, taking long time for decision making and thus cause harm to self and others.

Atharvaveda mantra 9/9/12 states that Kaal chakra has five legs which are:-

UTKSHEPANN (Throwing upwards), AVKSEPANN (Throwing downwards), AAKUNCHAN (Contraction), PRASARRANN(Expansion), GAMAN(Movement).

UTKSHEPANN, AVKSEPANN, AAKUNCHAN, PRASARRANN, GAMAN are the five deeds of kaal chakra which are indication of its movement.

Action takes place and movement of the action is measured in the shape of kaal charka (cycle of time). Cycle of day and night, seven days of a week, Krishna paksh and Shukla paksh(fortnight cycle) twelve months, cycle of seasons owing to movement of sun in southern hemisphere and northern hemisphere and cycle of hundred years(cycle of century) exists and in the said kaal chakra the whole universe has been dedicated keeping in view, the cycle of time which never takes rest and which passes away never returns. We must be alert to mange the time properly, to avoid its wastage.

Atharvaveda 9/9/13 states that kaal charka (cycle of time) is of twelve Errays i.e., like spokes of wheel. Twelve months are its spokes. Kaal chakra never becomes old/ancient and therefore is everlasting. It has unchangeable established/constant movement, which tells us to work hard in our whole life regularly without break under best time management. The time management will have to be achieved keeping in view the conclusion of about two mantras.

Dear friends,
namaste,

sometimes we all think vedas says God is there, great yogis by there level of self realisation and divine experience has proved that god is there.
We think this world is full of evil, good, bad, happiness, sorrows, lust, desres, mind perception, etc. What is the purpose behind creation by GOd.
One question asked to my Guruji relevant to all I am pasting for all for our self introspection:

Qiuestioner :You said that soul after 13 days wandering it will again rebirth according sins and pious performed by him/her. Sir the question which always moves in my mind is y v r borned…in this world. If God is there then why he created us and what he wants to prove by creating us in this world? As this world is of all sins, bad everywhere, and many other things, which will make my mind upset. If God is really there means on what basis he would have created us in first birth. Please explain.
Swami Ramswarup: Creation, nursing and final destruction including death and birth etc., is eternal process. Shwetashwropnishad shloka 6/8 states that Supreme knowledge, deeds and power of Almighty God are eternal and natural (automatic).

However, suppose soul does not take birth then what will happen? The form of soul is also eternal and immortal. So soul never meets with death. It is only living being’s body which after leaving the soul, becomes dead and is cremated. So at this juncture the soul does not take living being’s body. Then it will remain unconsciously in the space. The soul will ever then remain in unconscious (coma-like) condition. Now, suppose a person remains in coma, it means he is not able to do anything and even will not be liked by anybody. So will be the case of soul who will be in a position like in coma and will be of no use. The self-made story which I have told above is actually not applicable for the soul because the creation is eternal and automatic.

God has no desire of creation etc., please. He is devoid of desires. As I have told above, the creation is eternal and automatic, however the creator is God. Automatically at an appropriate time, the minutest divine power of God acts in non-alive prakriti and creation starts. So one should be cleared that God even does not create the universe. He is mere efficient cause (in Hindi Nimit Karann) . and the prakriti is eminent cause (in Hindi Upadaan karann). So, actually the God is Nimit-Upadan Karann of creation.

In reality, the soul does not always remain in Sushupt (coma) stage but by doing pious deeds according to Vedas, soul experiences most divine merriment after attaining salvation following the path of Vedas. So, God bestows mercy on public and has blessed us with human body and eternal knowledge of Vedas to attain salvation.

So we are free to do good or bad deeds but result is awarded by God according to previous lives’ deeds. So souls take birth at his own, if the soul does purely pious deeds according to four Vedas why will he get rebirth? That is soul will not take birth.

So creation is eternal and if could not be then we would have been like an idle stone thrown in dense jungle.

Yes, there is chance only in human life to make birth pious, extraordinary and long, happy and healthy by following Vedas. As regards mistakes, Vedas state about previous life and present lives’ deeds. It is bad luck of human being if they do not listen Vedas to know the mistake of previous human-lives. Our present birth is based on deeds of previous lives. Present and future happiness as well as birth also depends on present pious deeds based on Vedas.

So present life is golden chance to avoid sins in present life and to kill all the oceans of sins and other deeds which is called “Sanchit” karma of previous lives.

So it is our minds’ thought which forces us to blame the God to say that He has created drama which is, if you do not mind, please, a sin.

Vedas talk of ten commandment, same is the basis of aryasamaj and about the same Jesus talked, which is mentioned in Bible and many yogis.

Dear friends,
namaste,

Dear friends,
Gautam Buddha was a prince born amongst riches, all that could not satisfy this soul, as this soul had reached a stage where it was riped to follow of path of self realisation. He left everything and wandered for god and realised him.Later on this soul after realisation took subsequent births to spread the divine message of Ahinsa which is the basis of vedas and most important integral part of Astanga philosophy. At that time vedic culture was destroyed due to the effect of mahabharat war, varnashram got converted into caste by birth, vedas were just learned and studied but people except sanyasis did not practise astanga yoga to realise the truth of vedas. He said desires are the main cause of human sorrows and miseries. Vedas preach of control of desires, mind and balanced approach to life aiming to the eternal mooto of soul to realise almighty god.

The propogation of vedic culture to middle past was hindered and then jesus came and spread eternal dharma of god, his teachings were written after he left bethlem which is contained in bible. One thing i would like to mention this was written by his followeres, who were not self realised or mantradrishta unlike him. this bible was changed no of times due to the human vices of intellect, ego, superiority of race by roman emperore. So texts like i have come to teach the truth by the sword is not taught by jesus but by the people /Emperors to satisfy their ego and imperialist approach…One yogi can not be different from other. So Jesus was portrayed as Jealous and belittled. That land never had any great yogi after Jesus. Where ever such things are there it is written by people of intellect and mind and other vices of human mind.
Further Islam in the light of archaeological discoveries regarding prevalence of Vedic culture prior to Islam which you can find at www.archaeologynet.online I can say Islam is the misconstrued Translation of Vedas. Prophet Mohammad had the knowledge of Vedas which is reflected by contemporary writers. However he was not a realized soul. So spirituality part i.e. Samaveda, Yoga, Guru Shishya parampara is not mentioned, because this knowledge in full was always present in India and was propagated by our seers to entire world, as they believe in universal brotherhood as they were God realized and away from human vices of difference, sectarianism etc. Further in the shrine o f Kaaba a Shiva linga is there. There are many things which they follow as we as Hindus follow. Until now age of Vedas and earth is one Arab 96 crore 8 lakhs 53 thousands & 2 years. This is 7th Manvanter & 28 Chaturyugi & the present Kaliyug has passed its time of 5002 years. Vedas talk of formless, omnipresent, God, he is the only God in whom yogis dwell and meditate and Islam calls this God as Allah. Islam has come in 3rd century only, becos by then idol worship had come due to lack of knowledge of Vedas, and same was the case in India too post Mahabharata war. Followers of Islam say it has every knowledge, but I say the knowledge of Astanga yoga, true worship of God i.e. Yajna and yoga is not there in Islam, this is dealt in Vedas by Samaveda.Prophet mohd also could not write becos he was not aware of it as in India since time immemorial rishis, lord rama, Krishna were doing Yajen (Havan) and yoga, Gita too says best form of worship of God is havan and astanga yoga. In fact Vedas have the knowledge of straw to Brahma.

Guru Govind ji as talked about niraakar god i.e formless god in gurugranth sahib which is collection of his teachings and dohas of kabir etc.He was a realised yogi.At that time india was under Mugal rule and hindus were subjected to mutitude of tortures, vandalism of temples to construct masjids and others cruelties was in progress. This great yogi taught of One almighty formlerss god which vedas speak, he said never say vedas are lie, Rama and krishna was not there. There were subsequently eight more gurus please note guru shishya parampara of vedas. For all sikhs they are gurus and guru is equivalent to God but not God.He emphasised that idol worship is against vedas as the same truth was further propogated by swami dayanand saraswati in 1800.

So dear friends after mahabharat war different cultures and religions flourished under different circumsatances, environment and culture by different Souls who dwelled on same God which vedas talk of ,independent of vedic culture as the same was destroyed.

So think no body can convert eternal spirit/soul, which is an eternal atma and progress as poer the law of vedas and god.

What is there to fight, hate and convert.Modern mans ignorance is causing lot of harm to this earth which was collectively known as bharat till mahabharat unlike present day india.
Sages and Great rishis have said world is one family, “vasudaiv kutumbakam”

Do yoga, read bible, learn vedas and live in harmony with nature, fellow human beins and love all thats what all great yogis including jesus have taught.

Meaning of word rama:
The meaning of Ram is pleasant, merriment, beautiful
etc. The word Ram is also in Vedas but it is not the
name of God.

Actually it has been a tradition of our ancient and
present Rishis Munis that while performing namkaran
sanskar of a child, they give name to the child from
Vedas. Shakuni, Arjuna, Sita etc., are also the names
given by those Rishis to them so it does not mean that
Shakuni, Arjuna, Sita etc., are the names of God. In
Atharvaveda mantra 1/23/1 it is said, “AUSHDHE NAKTAM
JATA ASI” means - O Medicine! you are born in the
night. It means the whole floras (vegetations) are fed
with flavour/extract by moon in the night. And
therefore, “RAME KRISHNE (real word is Ram and Krishna
but in Sanskrit language saptmi Vibhakti has been used
here stating Rame, Krishne. So one should not have any
doubt because it is a fundamental law of eternal
Sanskrit grammar.) ASIKNI CH” means - your names are
Ram, Krishna and Asikni. Ram means - gives beauty,
Krishna means - you bring out all the defects/faults
(bacteria, germs) and Asikni means — you put away
the white spots from the body. So here Ram, Krishna
and Asikni are the names of medicine.
Sri Ram was born before about one crore eighty-one
lakh forty nine thousand and ninety years ago.
Dear friends,
namaste,

“I came to teach the truth by the sword”, this is not in the Bible.
Christians are supposed to send the message of salvation, but not by force.
The problems appear when a religion becomes organized, official, and it meddles into politics. You are right, terrible things have been done in the name of the Christ, but they surely are punished, as God does not tolerate injustice.
Jesus said a lot of upsetting things, but those are upsetting only to a man of the world. I like the radical approach He often had. The truth is not negociable. But He also had compassion, and tought love.
What you say about the recordings of Jesus’ life, is probably true. People usually write things down because of the fear of forgetting important things. When things get written down, they must be mentalized.
Still, the Bible and the New Testament (Covenant) are in a surprisingly good shape, although they are prone to being misinterpreted, as anything written down. I must admit that by studying yoga, my understanding of the Bible was tremendously enhanced.
I often get sad as I witness Jesus’ teachings being misinterpreted, or misused, and especially by those who are supposed to be His messengers. They so often get lost or rigidly attached to His words written down, and often they overlook the real message, because they take them out of their context.

I also get sad when I see adherents of various religions debating things what are not for the mind to settle, but for the heart. I am not saying mental comprehension is useless, but these debates are mostly too superficial.

My dream is that the real message of Jesus will be heard by more and more people in the West, and finally, from a mystery religion, based on ritualistic worship, christianity will be revitalized by a deeper personal understanding and acceptance, where personal freedom of thinking and feeling is not endorsed by dogma, where people will realize that as Jesus tought, we are all brothers, as God is our father, where people will discover their spiritual kinship and realize that even if we are not equal to Jesus or God, Jesus is the one through whom God made himself equal to us, and thus, we must respect the other person as Jesus or God Himself. If we strive to do that, no religion or dogma can separate us, no border, nationality, wealth or gender will be in our way.

PS: thank you Rashmi for your consistent efforts to present us your spiritual teachers, their and your toughts, they are quite valuable and inspiring. I always enjoy reading them.
Christians are supposed to send the message of salvation, but not by force.
Why do Christians feel there is a need to spread the message of Christ ?

Well, I can’t answer that as I am not a “very good christian”, but I will look into that. I guess it is based on the Apocalypse of John. Christianity supposed to be catholic - universal.
I personally believe that The Christ event is of historical event of the highest magnitude, regarding humanity’s spiritual development - if understood correctly. Sadly, christianism in it’s organized, official form, lost that knowledge, it became exoteric, and because it lost the living spirit, it clings to it’s outer expressions. I do not expect anyone to believe things one is not capable of. But I can make them understand what I believe in, and this faith is not based on dogma, but on personal searching, and living.
This is mainly based on Rudolf Steiner’s work, who I really think was a prophet, or a man with direct knowledge of the highest spiritual realities. He’s guide to meditation is as good as any I wrote by eastern swamis’, gurus’, perhaps even more suited to westerners.

I am quite aware of how exclusivist it sounds, and that is not good. I have been walking in your shoes … I have been a convinced atheist a decade and a half ago.
But that aversion is only based on your previous experience with christians what might not be that good, I admit, and, on your natural longing for the freedom of personal experience, what seems to be denied in the case of blind acceptance of dogma.
Please, do not make the mistake to identify me, with your previous knowledge on christianity … as I am sure, if I told my priest, what I believe in, I’d be excommunicated.
So if this helps … I am not a christian, as I am a heretic. I am not a hindu, or buddhist either, allthough I find nourishment in these teachings too, just as I find spiritual nourishment in the Bible.

But let us not hijack this respectable thread.
