What are your food ethics?
The only food ethic I observe is to eat vegetarian. I am not fussy about anything else, eating everything from veggie burgers and chips, take-away pizzas, to pasta and loads of cheese. I also recently started eating eggs again, but this may have been a contributing factor to my current health crisis.

In the future I will move to a pure Yogic diet.
Highly unlikely eggs caused you troubles unless:

Your alergic to them.

They were tainted.
dude a cul

Testosterone is secreted pretty much by the ‘gonads’

Eating meat has nothing to do with it.

Yes I know I’m filling in the blanks.
I don’t really want to go into it because its a large subject and I have other things to do - but I put very little stock in the conventional wisdom of meatheads. The bottom line is this. The body produces test - and no meat is required inorder for the body to produce test.

The Scales does not drink milk although he would if he personaly had a cow and could sip right from the udder, or knew an ethical dairy farmer.

I.E. Organic Grass Fed Cow whose milk is unprocessed and non pasturized. Non Bologne added.

Natural. As it should be.

Well if you do ever decide to look into it, you would quickly understand that diet and lifestyle effects our hormone levels.

I have looked into it. I used to buy Muscle and Fitness when I was like 13.
I scrapped Iron in the service. I usually am on some form of a strength training routine.

Your correct - lifestyle affects hormone levels.

but …

You don’t have to eat meat inorder for your body to produce testosterone.

Nor do you have to eat meat inorder to maximize test and GH production.

/.\

Eat organic? If it’s convenient. I buy veg & lettuce & herbs from a neighbor.

Eat local? Again, if it’s convenient.

Eat meat? Yes. Frequently. I also wear leather shoes.

Consume any animal products (milk, gelatin, eggs)? Daily.

Buy from the farmers market, grocery store or health food store? Primarily grocery stores.

Eat out often (this includes fast food)? Coffee once a week and a local restaurant perhaps once a month.

Eat foods that benefit your body, with the occasional treat? Most foods do benefit the body unless they are processed foods. I find it’s more an issue of the QUANTITY. You can eat beneficial foods in large quantities and that negates the benefits.

Eat whatever’s convenient/whatever you feel like? Rarely. I mostly eat protein & veg with very little convenience-type or processed foods.

QUOTE=YogiAdam;54471 … I agree, but core789 said he felt more aggressive and horny when including red meat in his diet… Hello!!
Core is a scorpio. He’s just making excuses for his hornines. He feels more horny all the time. He’s naturally horny.

This phenominon (of horniness under the influence of scorpio) can be observed throughout creation when the moon is in that sign (scorpio)

You have to pay attention to the moon cycles though to catch it.

When the moon transitions through scorpio more people and creatures are horny.

Fact. And it’s observable…

When the sun is in scorpio (20ish october to 20ish november) more people are scrogging (after the harvest - i.e libra)(under the influence of scorpio) to generate babies so the bodies can grow over the cold and be born in july and august.

Consumption of meat does NOT induce horniness.

Not at all. Not even close. No way. PURE DELUSION.

The only way that it could possibly induce horniness is via a fetish or fixation associated with meat - which is pretty interesting.

lol

nor does consumption of meat induce aggressiveness.
Sight of meat can induce aggressiveness in animal as simply part of stimulus response - but as far as consumption - no not even close.

Superstition.

sheesh.

Well personally I’m not going to comment on weather or not ‘meat’ increases testosterone, but there is plenty of evidence to support the theory that diet plays a role in hormone production, and a low fat diet can certainly contribute to low testosterone… you would be aware of that I’m sure, reading muscle and fitness. So it’s possible that if core8794509354 is feeling hornier and more aggressive after eating meat, it could very well be that his diet was low in fat. Obviously it’s very hard to get vitamin B12 form non-animal products as well… anyway, at the end of the day… he eats meat and gets horny and aggressive, he excludes meat, and is less horny and aggressive… you come up with a more logical reason??

Indeed, it is true that meat will raise your levels of aggression and horniness. It does indeed stimulate testosterone production. However, a person does not need to eat meat to produce a healthy level of testosterone. By maintaining a heathly and balanced body their body will produce healthy levels of testosterone naturally. Also, there are other sources for testosterone other than meat, like zinc and special herbs. Shilajit used in Ayurveda is known to be a very effective sexual tonic.

Absolutely, I never said that you need meat for healthy hormone levels… I was just giving what I thought was the most plausible explanation for why core789798 was experiencing horniness and aggression when consuming meat… that’s all. Nothing more.

and my response was based upon my experience and understanding.

Plus - I checked my facts. Super special secret ways. . .

If you don’t ‘believe’ in the influence of the heavens you will simply skip over my explanation and look for the logic within your worldview. Which is what you’ve done.

My response was backed by verified experience. If you discount the influence of the heavens then you miss an enormous factor for consideration.

How can ‘theories’ stand if the foundation is rubbish?

They don’t. So I’d like you two clever cats to explain to me the BIO LOGICAL mechanics of how consumption of meat RAISES testosterone levels…

I’m talking Science here. No Auyrveda talk. No Cop out. No B.S.

This outta be good.

“Raises testosterone levels and aggression!”

also no long winded copy and pasting.

K.I.S.S. and in your own words.

You MUST know about this stuff if you’ve been reading muscle an fitness. Red meat has high levels of zinc, which help to support testosterone development, it’s high in iron, B12, and protein. If you lift heavy weight and eat protein (particularly red meat, which contains creatine), you will develop muscle mass which will increase testosterone. If you look for information to support this, you will be bombarded with information and studies. Even non-biological factors can effect testosterone. For example, testosterone levels have been measured after certain activities, and they found that testosterone levels in men can peak after watching sport, and decrease after a relaxing bubble bath with relaxing candle light and burning oils.
Lack of sleep can reduce testosterone, and low testosterone, can effect sleep. This is why I turn the computer and TV off a couple of hours before bed.
I could go on for days about this subject. I have books and seminar DVDs, and have put strategies into practice with fantastic results.

Nice try but you didn’t answer the question.

I can’t say I know what type of an answer you want. You may be better doing independent research.
I can’t say I know what type of an answer you want. You may be better doing independent research.
I want the answer to the question I asked.

You see - I already know the answer. I don’t need to research. Your the one who actually needs to research. I knew you didn’t know what you were talking about - thats why I asked you the question I asked.

“how does consumption of meat raise levels of testosterone and aggression?”

You are the one who continually speaks from a place of untruth. Not I. Because your lack of discrimination is both a detriment to yourself and others - and you are prone to argue - I called you on it.

Lets simplify the hell out of this. Google meat and testosterone for gods sake. I guarantee you will find study after study. If you take them all as rubbish, then that’s just you being selective, and there’s not much I can do about that.
