Cobra pose combined with downward dog. Really refreshes and invigorates the body and mind.
Also, tho I do not know the name of it, laying on your back, and stretching one leg over the other one, as far as possible, is incredibly refreshing in the morning and extremely relaxing in the evening…
IMHO

Safe to say,

Suryanamaskar A+B . 3-5times each. 6days a week. Then add a couple more whatever you like to start with.

Ofcourse everybody will have their own opinion. But israels doesn’t make sense to me

Do you mean Yoga routine or Yoga asana routine?
What do you want to achieve or gain from it?

A properly qualified and experienced teacher can design a routine specially for you after a consultation about your abilities, needs, goals etc.

Supra Baddha Konasana followed by Savasana… Repeat

I would recommend hiring a private trainer to put together a routine for you and to check your progress periodically. This is what I did and I learned that it is very difficult to hold the correct form of each pose and you won’t know you are doing it wrong without someone to tell you. I also learned it is very easy to hurt yourself by overextending and not using props. So I think some training is smart. My sessions cost about $20 for an hour and we met once a week for several months. I feel it was a good investment.

Costaicayoga,
Yoga methods commonly recommended for common man/normal worldly life living man and thus practiced are shuddhi kriyas/shatkarmas (purification techniques), asanas (poses), pranayamas (breathing exercises), mudras (gestures), dhyan (meditation), mantra chanting, etc.
The Yoga routine for a person should depend on his/her interest, need, motivation/intention, age, gender and conditions. I believe that if you clarify on these bases, the most contributors to this Yoga forms will guide you with the best of thier abilities, skill and experience.

Please do yourself a favor get in touch with a Yoga teacher around you to start with.
or at least buy a DVD by a experienced yoga teacher.
in writing no one can give you any series to practice until you fully understand how yoga postures work on our body.

love& peace

depends on what is your goal…and after you chose your goal you can start chosing your tools: asana, paranyama, shatkarmas, meditation, etc

It’s a good idea to start your yoga routine at home, but how you go about doing it depends on your yoga background. If you are a novice, I think you will benefit most by going to yoga classes taught by a certified teacher first to build up your knowledge on yoga basics (breathing, asanas, alignment) first. If you have practiced yoga for some time (3 months ?) you should be able to work out an asana sequence comprising of warm up (sun salutations), standing poses, seated poses, inversions and savasana to practice at home. You would also be able to think deeper what you want to achieve with a home routine.
