I recently started looking for a yoga bag to put my mat and towel etc. I came across the bag made by Manduka. I know they have a great reputation for their mat being very thick and heavy. But I just couldn’t justify the price for both the mat and the bag they charge. Anyway, I wonder if anyone using a yoga bag and has any input on what to look for.
I figure it has to be durable yet light weight and big enough to fit my yoga mat and other stuff. Preferably washable. How easy is it to put the yoga mat back is the question. Is it better to get one with top opening (drawstring) or side opening (zipper)? Is it easier to carry if it has handle or strap? What is a better material (cloth, canvas, nylon, mesh)? What is a good price and is a certain brand more well know or better?
I know a lot has to do with personal taste. But otherwise tell me what you think are important things you like or don’t like about your yoga bag. I want to find a perfect one and want to hear everyone’s opinion.
