Where do i begin. I have a very limted knowledge of yoga “Plans and cat stretches” I do these to warm up before i go to lift weights. I also use diaphramic breathing. So where can i find the beginers exercises. Im a visual person and pictures or videos would help me understand the poses.
It would be more helpful for us, as a community, to respond to your question when you include your intention(s).
If you are looking into asanas, the poses or postures which are but a sliver in the tree of Yoga, then you can find a book very easily at any library or major book store. Or if you are seeking pictures I suspect the image portion of google would be very helpful.
If you develop and interest in yoga, that’s a different story.

With a good teacher.
Perhaps a exercise forum is needed, pics or videos submitted by forum members would be good. Is there a videos/pics forum on this site?
What is a catur, i got a lot of studying to do on yoga.
I’d say if you are looking for health benefits, test out a couple of local studios. If you want to explore yoga as a way of life, my favorite is a book titled myLife Framework: A Model for a Successful Life based on Yoga Principles by Sunil Sheoran. Check it out at Amazon
Perhaps a yoga retreat would be best for you. Usually very many different levels of practitioners with all levels of experience and tons of knowledge!
I find practicing yoga through audio instruction as the most effective, because I don’t have to keep looking at the TV screen and lose my concentration. With soothing background music and beautiful voice, I can spend hours on the mat.
Go to www.yogajournal.com. They have evrything you need regarding yoga. Articles, pictures, videos, advice, etc.
If you are visual type - go Youtube - yoga for beginners, get a book ( Byron Baptiste is a good one for asanas learning) and Practice every day at least 20 minutes.
