Since starting Yoga some years back, I have been intrigued about the origin of this good sense, and now it has come to pass, that I have found that my beliefs as a Uk pagan run parallel with many of that of Sanatana dharma, to the point where I feel the need to seek more. My question is, given there is so much information available, where should a beginning seeker start ?
You are speaking, I presume of Hinduism? Perhaps then best to ask someone following that religion. I know nothing of Hinduism but these folks claim to know it all. Try there.

Where does one START? The answer IS right where YOU ARE, and WITH WHAT YOU HAVE, namely your form, your thoughts and emotions. You are not obliged nor compelled to live with anyone or follow anyone or thing nor belief, BUT WITH YOUR FORM (BODY, MIND, THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS) You are encased for the alotted time of incarnation, so START with what YOU have and by going deeper within your-self will and SHALL bring you to the SELF of ALL. Incarnation begins with breath and ends with BREATH, ALL scriptures point to this! Much WILL change with the performance of this, and to help broaden the AWARENESS, Lambhika should be praticed by and thru the guidance of a compitent and capable GURU, GUIDE, PRECEPTOR or TEACHER. To mutilate the form is incorrect, the outwardness brings much confussion concerning the inwardness, and this has been keeping most Dear Hearts from the TRUTH of BEING. Via this informal means of communication we ALL can share experiences, but this does not add up to the direct PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, this can only be had by and thru a compitent GURU. It is like this: We are ALL walking blind and deaf in the DARK trying with ALL sincereness to get home and of course thru our deep feelings of love trying to help others along our way, but being blind and deaf and walking in the dark makes the journey sooo much more harder: SOLUTION: find a guide who has already walked the road to bring one to the final destination, the answer to this is GO WITHIN with that very same question:“HERE I AM, PLEASE LEAD AND GUIDE ME”, and the the guide that will be suitable to your temperament and character WILL present himself or herself to lead you on the right path of unfoldment. As there are many of us on this planet so are there also many forms of unfoldment, one individuals food can be another’s poison. For that same reason there are many different paths, each wonderfully put together to lead and guide the different temperaments and characters incarnated back to our true “SELVES”.
