The last thing I knew about him was that he gave up his yoga sadhana and that he was exploring his desires.
Perhaps he realized he had a mild addiction to debate and to post in this forums.
His intellectual strength was his spiritual weakness.
its been years, that I dream. but last week I dreamt a strange, spiral.
SD & his pet at a spot at the himalaya
receiving telepathic verses
from his new found at last, guru?
i woke up with a woo
I remember he wanted Amir to teleport himself into his bedroom proving his enlightenment.
Last I heard from him was his promise to buy and read my book. I hear about the book helping people sleep; but disappear?
hehe lol
Lol
I stumbled on this forum today when I was doing a google search, so checked in to see how it is going. Unfortunately, part of the reason I took a sabbatical from the forum was that it was not very active, and it still doesn’t seem to be so. There are still threads from several months back on the first page in the spirit section.
Panoramix,
The pursuit of ones desire with the aim of self-realization is actually a spiritual path in Tantra. Let us just say I have in my recent life become more inspired by the Tantra path
The purification of the intellect or chitta shuddi is what Yoga aims to do. So one who is spiritually developed, also has a clearer and more precise intellect. Hence why I have found some of the most spiritually developed people to also be the most intellectually developed, Swami Vivekananda and Shankara come to mind.
There are far too many stupid new agers out there who believe they are spiritual, but in fact they are just stupid lol Stupidity and spirituality do not go together.
Bjoy, I am currently putting looking for a Guru on pause or I’ll let the Guru appear themselves when the time is right
Ray, Amir still has not teleported into my bedroom yet, in case you were thinking he did, and I was so stunned that I became his disciple and am now living in this house doing seva for him
Suhas, I am sorry I still have not been able to read your book, I have been busy doing other things. However, I worry now if I buy it, what if I really do disappear!
welcome back:)
indeed! actually forums have a creepy side, it allows talking to the dead. Luckily Surya Deva is still shining
I just stumbled upon this forum when I did a google search in sankyhya and Vedanta and found a post with surya deva debating with asuri.
I found surya devas knowledge and understanding exceptional and hope to see further future posts.
I have started a path of study in Vedanta also at the Vedanta academy in Pune.
If you are interested in Tantra then perhaps you should meet Yogi Ashwini from the Dhyan Foundation.
Surya Deva:
I have to agree.
It is very quiet.
There are several sites/forums I can think of that are much more engaged. (and don’t cost anything - which I suspect is part of the reason)
I hope things pick up here.

I have also been doing the same; following the path of Tantra.
I’m also fed up with all the religious debate and pseudo intellectual bullshit that occurs on similar fora, so I find myself back here, ready to give the study of Yoga scientific credibility again.
I’m back, and it’s nice to see you are still alive and kicking, Surya Deva.
I wasn’t ready for this forum before, now I am.
