there are so many yoga products distributors and brands out there. i want quality items, but reasonable prices as well. who is the best? are some brands better for different items? i need mats, blocks, straps, eye pillows for a new studio.
also, since everyone’s preference is different, have any of you studio owners found the perfect mat that suits everyone or the majority?

you can get reference yoga product online or you can buy yogajournal/there available digital version to compare products that suitable with you or studio. if you want open new studio I think you will buy more than 10 products and better than you contact them directly ask their catalog or sample products.
I’m getting my yoga mats from Ross $7.99 for regular and $12 for better Nike mats. They also have blocks, and yoga sets.I bought lot of staff for my studio from Ross. Most of students have their own mats and blankets, so most mats I bought stay unused. Also check out ebay and amazon, they have deals sometimes. Unless you are opening yoga studio for celebrities:) than buy the most cool and expensive staff:)) very cute staff you can buy at Etsy.com - custom made and good price.
Also make or buy sandbads - they are great props for breathing and shavasana.

thanks all. i will definitely buy online. just looking for wholesale-type prices since i’m going to incur a large cost to ship it here to costa rica. good advice on the sandbags. can probably have those made here.
I am not the best person to ask - big conflict of interest!! But there are many on-line Yoga stores that do a great job, Everything Yoga, Yoga Accessories, Sunshine Yoga, they are all great.
