I am busy reading the Mandukhya Upanishad and while reading the following I thought, but this sounds extremely familiar to me:
“In the beginning was Brahman with whom was the word and the word is Brahman.”
compare it to:
“In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God.” - John 1:1
Underline my belief that All is but One and that God is inherent in all of us.
John is very dear to me as author of Revelations (Apocalypse). The dearest disciple. Although hystorians doubt all the Johns of the New testament are the same, my heart tells me otherwise. (Yes there was a brother of Christ, named John, also, but that is not our guy)
Revelations (The Apocalypse of John) is a vision of someone in the highest state of initiation, about our past and future, the Kingdom of Heaven. That’s why it is totally unintelligible to a common mind, because it is a vision, where numbers and images are just symbols of earthly and heavenly things. Visions, dream work like this. Rudolf Steiner has a great book on this, what really opened my eyes, and made me accept and embrace christianity. (Former atheist, materialist)
To get back to our sheep, yoga, well this is the marvelous thing about it: I could relate to it, accept it as a materialist, atheist person, and I can do the same as a christian. Some things are just so basic, so common sense in it that no matter what your mind is set to, you just have to agree.

Yes I believe all is one.
All religions are one and the divine shows another face another imagine to the different humans and mentality’s, so they can understand it more easy.
Religion and Yoga also has almost the same meaning.
The word religion comes from the Latin word religere or religiare and means to reconnect. Yoga comes from the sanskrit word juj and means almost the same.
Is?nt that wonderful?
