I m recently reading and studying a few Law of attraction audios and reports,
some questions come to my mind …
since the world is in two dimentional , so we tend to view and judge by our ego which is right which is wrong, and we tend to desire to have something to make us happy ,
but in universe that is a more dimentional and no such views as right or wrong, just energy flow, and everyting has its opposite side, and everythng is afterwards an illusion, just like Albert Einstein once said "reality is inception."
Then if there is nothing there, nothing needs to be done,
Then, why do we still need to practise the Law of attraction? if we already let our desires go?
Any thoughts or advices?
thanks
Just my quick thoughts:
In the spectrum of consciousness you have states where desires are less necessary then in other states.
For example, for meditation having no direct desires will give better results.
During daily life, it can be handy to have a desire to out of bed, have desire to move your left and right leg for moving etc.
Right now, at this moment I have the desire to write to you, because I’m in waking state, and I have energy to give to other people.
To me, the Landmark/The law of attraction gives a biased view on desires and not the whole story (“wouldnt it be great it everybody could have what they want?” <- …well…).
Usually when they talk about a desire, it is assumed the desire is of good intention, and the mission is to manifest it.
However, in the longterm, for every person, a particular desire can be good and/or bad, whether for the other person its the opposite.
When people (e.g. yogis/monks/buddhist) talk about desirelessness, it implies that not all desires are good for a person (eg. “I want to eat as much as possible”), or even more extreme: any desire which causes pleasure or pain should be avoided.
Different frequencies if you will of awareness one lives in produce different desires, or lack thereof.
Why do we need the law of attraction? Easy laws exist as a blanket covering the foolish and the wise, the advanced and the not advanced. Need is the question and the answer is not all do, individual need however has nothing to do with the operation of the Universe.
Nothing needs to be done is quite correct, however try buying groceries with that and you will be hungry. I have yet to meet a person who needs nothing to eat.
We are here and it is good to observe the laws of being here, if we find ourselves elsewhere it would be in our best interest to observe those laws as well. Will we ever know the why of it? Good question. Wherever one finds ones self rest assured it is wonderful to exist there and things are happening just the way they should.
I truly believe it’s all about vibration. This is become more and more apparent on a scientific level too. What we project out into the world - our fears, our desires, our expectations, our beliefs create the realities around us. We may say that everything is an illusion but we’re still living within our illusions and maybe then it’s an illusion that we are creating our reality, yet we are living in it so why not create it according to what ;feels right’ - even though it be a false perception.
The law of attraction is not part of yoga, it’s more of a recent new-age concept/belief/assertion. They are not related. In yoga, One chooses to be desire-less. The “law” of attraction is a desire-based concept.
