It seems a big call. The body has an estimated 37 trillion cells. So what in yoga might help to maintain or even lengthen the telomeres in each cell? Shortened telomeres are believed to be a major cause of ageing. We’ve all heard stories of yogis who live to a very advanced age and are still active. I’m trying to discover if this is myth or reality and how they might do it.
