Yoga for Post LD Flap Breast Reconstruction Surgery

I have been approached by a potential student who is recovering from LD flap breast reconstruction surgery following mastectomy due to breast cancer.
She is feeling well and has been told by her doctor that she is OK to go ahead with yoga practice. I am working on a program for her and was wondering if any other teachers have had experience with students recovering from this type of surgery. If you have, I would be keen to hear about your experiences and appreciate any advice. Thank you  Namaste.

I have finished my yoga for breast cancer certification in november. it was a comprehensive course with support of Mayo Clinic. I’ve done a research paper on TRAM flap, I can send it over to you (you can send your email address to my PM). It is include lot of asana description and their modifications as well as about 20 book sources.

In general, in the recovery one should go slow and we were advised to do more breathing and restorative yoga poses.
