Hi everyone! I’m new to yoga, but I want to learn it in order to strengthen my lower back, which is very weak. (I’ve pulled it several times in the past year alone.) Can someone guide me in the right direction towards some exercises that would help strengthen my lower back? Thanks!

It’s a physical therapy protocol. The source of its development only Robin McKenzie can say.
The McKenzie method is a pt protocol and someone on this forum had mentioned it so I tried it. It has really helped my back. Good luck!
Thanks to both of you for that clarification. Come to think of it, maybe a bit of physical therapy is just what I need for my lower back, especially since it wasn’t weak or problematic until I overdid it one day at work and pulled the muscle. I didn’t do any kind of PT after that, so the problem has just become worse over time.
