Yoga In Ten Lessons

This book was written in 1965 and is now out-of-print. It has guided me in my solo practice since 1980 and is the only book I can honestly say has changed my life. Although I have owned no other yoga book(s) and do wish to read some, especially the ones discussed in this forum, Yoga In Ten Lessons has been exactly what I have needed to introduce and instruct me on asanas, pranayama, concentration and yoga philosophy.
This book is particularly notable in that it was written by a Benedictine priest. The instructions and drawings are very clear and understandable. This book has been a blessing and is special in that it is a smaller book, only 172 pages.
In that respect, it is ideal for those beginners and intermediates who may feel intimidated by the larger offerings on bookshelves.

That really a wonderful information as you had shared. Vociferous your effort is really appreciable and i don’t know about others but that information really going to help me a lot.

I love old books. They contain so little BS and are very straight forward! I still reading BSK Iyengar Light on YOga it is old too and cost only 25 cent on amazon!
