For most people, sex is truly a trying task. Not only are you supposed to be focusing on your partner?s pleasure and satisfaction (without being obviously focused on your own), we also have to worry about getting creative and fresh with all the positions while making sure these positions will not cause any stress or injury to our body. Also, you have to worry about your stamina and endurance, whether you can keep up your performance to the climax. Considering all these factors, yoga boost our sex desire & power ?
i would say yeas it does, just like any exersise…of course it depends what kind of yoga:) after 2 hours of Bikram or Viniasa haha no one would think SEX:))
anyways, yoga helps to control the body better - it might result in better sex
also, you might want to check out Tantra and tantric techniques…it has to do with sex as well
good luck
Sounds like a whole lot of chitta vrtti while getting your groove on. The mind will definitely get in the way of your enjoyment with all that worrying. As to your question of whether yoga is essential for a better sex life? Not necessarily, but for me, it has helped immensely. I’ve been working on agni sara/mula bandha regularly for the last couple years, and it has had a direct effect on my enjoyment. Also, climax shouldn’t necessarily be the “goal” that we’re striving for. That puts a lot of undue pressure on the couple. Yoga teaches us to be in the moment, experience each breath, each sensation, with unfettered awareness. That lesson applies to love-making.
Healthy limber supple body and mind gained through yogasana or other means is a boon to what you speak. How could it not be?
