Yoga newbie from Bangalore, India

Hey hi folks,
My name’s Sachin and I am 24.
I work in IT industry as a SAP Consultant which involves no physical activity other than typing and using a mouse…

I had developed RSI and its pretty much ok now…
I realise that my body is not in a good condition as it used to be few years ago. I often dont feel fresh…

I think Yoga can get me back on track.

I am looking for yoga classes in Bangalore where I can learn.

Could somebody help in locating me a yoga instructor in Bangalore , India… ?
Regards,
Sach

welcome to the forum!

Hello Sachin,

Even I am also from Bangalore. I think its better you attend the Art of Living workshops which they hold in different localities every week. First you do the Basic Course which is a duration of 6 days…that week itself you will notice the difference…

Then if you have time you can attend the Advanced Course & other courses…

P.S : I am not a volunteer in Art Of Living  I did the course and somehow feeling quite relaxed so opted to help this guy out.

I’ve had issues with mouse-related work also. Maybe you already know this, but I started using a Rollermouse Pro, and it was much better. I also have a Typmatrix keyboard. But. Any tool is not perfect. Variation is neccesary whatever tools you got. But using a regular mouse in wrong way is really bad. You could start using mouse closer to the centre of your body, and with the other hands sometimes.

Yoga is really great to release tension in shoulders and neck, back. I have never had some crackling in my back since I started yoga

Hey, you probably know how to translate Hatha…

Dear Sachin,

I have myself done the Yoga Teachers training in Swami Vivekananda institute near Bangalore (30 kms away) and it is a very helpful course.
To get more details check out vyasa.org.They have various courses that you can choose from and they are good.
I would highly recommend it.

Om Shanti Om
