Yoga Nidra Philosophy

Yoga Nidra has roots in various traditions, including
tantric Shaivism and the teachings of Vishnu. This
practice can also be found in multiple medical
publications and traditions, such as Vedantic and
Buddhist, both in India and beyond.

In India, Vishnu, known as Narayana, occasionally
embodies the Lord of Sleep, sleeping consciously on the
waters of creation. At other times, the Ultimate Witness and
Pure Awareness that Yoga Nidra helps practitioners
recognize.

A key element of Yoga Nidra is the systematic rotation of
consciousness throughout the body. This practice is
derived from the tantric practice of Nyasa, which means
"to place" or "to direct the mind."

My mission is to empower women to realize their potential and find serenity.
