Yoga practice: indispensable part of my body transformation

Hello, I’m new here also, and I find yoga practice an indispensable part of my body transformation. I find that a rigorous schedule of weightlifting and strict diet puts me in a very agressive, irritalble state and causes me to readily lose my temper and even threaten my loved ones. My yoga practice has helped me to find my center again and remain balanced while I accomplish my goal of overall better health.

I believe in the benefits of a group.

Hey JP and STYC, welcome to the forum and thanks for jumping right into the discussion. I moved your posts here so that other members can join you in this conversation, while keeping the other thread on the original posters topic of strongman training.

Cheers,
Nichole

It also helped me overcome a rather embarrasing weightlifting injury. I typically lift outside in bare feet, and a poor errant insect ventured too close while I was resetting my feet. In my shock I moved my foot, dropped the weight and in the process strained my groin. I truly believe that my morning yoga practice was central to my recovery from the injury.
