In Christian words, my husband and I remind each other of the injunction to pray for our enemies (we don’t engage in fisticuffs, but there are definitely folks out there who work for a world that is non-peaceful and less life-nurturing than it is now, and we acknowledge that they are effective in their work.) We remind each other that, in bringing them into our hearts, we aren’t supporting their will with ours but trying to align our will (and hopefully theirs) with God’s. I recognize ahimsa in this.
That I have a pre-conceived notion of what God’s will looks like could end up being a stumbling block for me; satya and aparigraha will help me with that when the evidence arises.
