Rishikesh Yog Peeth (RYS 200), a registered yoga school with Yoga Alliance, offers yoga teacher training scholarship programs in India which is based on referrals by it’s ex-TTC students. No. of scholarships are limited to 2 seats in each course. Any constructive suggestion from experienced yoga lovers in this regard will be highly appreciated. Association for Yoga and Meditation offers scholarship in Yoga Teachers Training program for 200 hrs to poor students who are willing to learn yoga education but do not have fund. The Total seats limited to one in each batch which begins at 15 th of every month.

We didn’t know that you are offering scholarships to poor students. Anyway, we’ll send all the relevant queries to you so that you can offer it to more and more people. My thread is about Rishikesh Yog Peeth’s yoga teacher training scholarship programs’ awareness and genuine suggestions from experienced yoga lovers to make it better. This thread has got nothing to do with what other people/institute/schools are offering.

This is fantastic that you are offering yoga teacher training scholarships. What a wonderful opportunity for so many students who would not otherwise be able to afford the tuition for yoga school. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks LA Yoga Teacher, so far we have selected only one student for yoga teacher training scholarship and another one is under consideration but our target is to offer it to more people. What we are looking for is sincere yoga students with genuine financial needs. It’s certainly not based on some sort of talent. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Rishikesh Yog Peeth has decided to put on hold all scholarship programs being currently offered for our yoga teacher training courses, starting January 2014.
