Yoga to open body and activate body awareness/sexual energy?

Hi all,

What are some simple yoga moves/stances that can aid me in opening my body more, to allow me to be more present in my day to day life. And also very importantly to help activate my sexual energy which then increases my presence/desirability to women.

I am aware that the hips are a very important part of this and know for a fact that my hips are very tight.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It seems that these two desires are in conflict with one another. Being present means being yourself… honest, aware, attentive. These qualities can draw people to you, but it’s genuine only when you don’t want that as a result.

As for what makes you more present on a daily basis… it’s different for everyone. A challenging yoga class, meditation, relaxation, pranayama. Your question is much too broad… it’s a question you can ask yourself and experiment…

I want to be more present - I am also aware that when we’re not in our heads that this makes us more attractive. I think mainly what I’m looking for is some yoga stretches or poses that can help to open up my body more especially my hips. A guy who walks with tight hips is going to be less attractive than a guy who is open and free and flowing.

Dhanurasana, chakrasana, bhurjangasana, sarvangasana, padmasana, matsyasana, sirsasana.

There is no need to get yourself involved with the chakras for that. Just learn how to be charming and impressive to women in social encounters - and you will manage it.

Agama Yoga teaches about the energetic aspects of Yoga - including sexual energy and its activation and flow. They are based in southern Thailand, but there is a branch in Rishikesh as well as several others throughout the globe.

You can google their website for a description of the program and where to find teachers and classes. I’ve been there and found their program fascinating. It’s definitely not for everyone, but it might just be what you are looking for.

The head of Agama Yoga, a man who calls himself Swami Vivekananda, is a sleazy, sad individual. He was kicked out of India for sexual misconduct. I have personally witnessed him taking advantage of young women and heard complaints from women about him.
For the safety of women, I feel this important to mention.

That’s what I meant by “it’s not for everyone.” Vivekananda says very clearly and loudly that he is a sexual tantric and that he is pretty much “available” to just about any woman. He’s not doing anything behind closed doors, saying or preaching one thing and doing another behind the scenes like so many of the really sleazy teachers. His philosophy is one of sexual openness - take it or leave it. It’s definitely not for everyone. There are many different paths, as many paths as there are people.

More accurate description for a middle aged man using manipulation to get his way with vulnerable young women, would be downright disgusting. Take that or leave it.

There is no spiritual path in having sex with an old pervert. Just to point out the obvious.

Just keep practicing…there are no specific movements that will get you to the point in two days…:-?

what kind of physical activity is present in your life now?

may I ask why do you want to increase your sexual energy? be more attractive to femails? to last longer during the sex? to boost the sexual energy, so you can be horny all the times?

your practice would depend on your answer…

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I forgot about this thread. I’m still interested in this.

My goal is to A) increase my presence to women ie. be more attractive, which I’m guessing is energy? and B) to use yoga as a tool to clear deep-seated automated issues. These are not at the conscious level therefore I’m assuming they are within my body.

I’ve started doing the Eagle Pose with fire breath and definitely noticed a buzzing afterwards. Am I on the right path? Should I be looking at kundalini yoga?

I am not sure what you really mean by activating your sexual energy. Yoga is a way of making your whole body more healthy, sexual health included. The deep breathing included when you practice yoga helps you in controlling your heartbeat and excitement.

After practicing yoga for some time most people experience enhanced relationships and their love lives has improved in a great way.
