As a yoga practitioner, what challenges are you working on these days, or what areas of growth are you most interested in exploring in your practice?

I’d prefer to hear your challenges and growth areas.
My biggest challenges involve learning to strengthen and support chronically injured joints, and learning to execute postures effectively with a VERY asymmetrical body.
My growth focus is learning about all the Yoga that isn’t Asana.
my challenges are procrastination. i try to do 30 sun salutations per day, but i don’t either get the time or to be more honest i put it off.
It helps centre me and regain my mood/balance and is good for weight loss. in a week, i’ve lost about 10 pounds doing this alone. plus i can do it in any quiet space and only takes about 30 minutes per day.

I am putting more pressure on myself to be fit for hip replacement surgery and seeking serenity in post operative rehab.
Thinking about non-violence helps me be aware of when ‘preparation for surgery’ practice is bordering on the paranoid/delusional. I have found myself making decisions differently. Hopefully more truthful with myself about general lifestyle habits.

I met a bright, cheerful woman today who told me she will be turning 100 in August. She is using a ‘walker’ now but didn’t learn to ride a bike until her 60’s! And still beats her friends playing bridge.
Obviously for me a challenge is accepting that ‘anything can happen at anytime’ and being afraid for myself and my body degenerating is pointless.
Surrender to serenity in the moment. And learn to play bridge:D
