In the tea bag thread I mentioned that I read some graffiti on a gym locker door at my gym “Be careful what you wish for because you may lose what you have”. Then I read the above quoted in a novel I’m reading. I enjoy coincidences in that they usually shed light on what my innermost thoughts are focused on.
At first I thought this had to do with capitalism, but on reflection I think it has more to do with appreciating what you have or it will depreciate. “Either you are fired with enthusiasm, or you will be fired with enthusiasm” is a saying I’ve thrown out there from time to time
