Yes you make good points and without argument I’d like to reply because I want to be perfectly clear to all readers.
Not all yogis drink milk. Some avoid cow’s milk. Some drink goats milk instead, within half an hour of milking of course. Further, one could say “yogis live in caves and drag rocks with their genitals”. That doesn’t make it prudent for the forum community to move to the rocks and drag them about.
Second, discernment and fear are not mutually inclusive. It is not wise for us to view a discerning student as a fearful one. It is assumptive. I opt out of (and into) certain things based on being well informed in combination with feeling what is appropriate for me.
I absolutely agree that food from the supermarket needs to be very carefully vetted. And I’d not walk into most supermarkets because of this. The situation with the food supply is quite dire, on that we concur. Where we diverge is that I believe we still do the best we can rather than give up the ship. Make the best decisions you can relative to the information available. That is what I’ll call “uncommon sense” because common sense implies everyone is doing it.
While points about cheats and air pollution are valid they don’tt speak directly to the suggested product. Air is not particularly optional - colostrum is. I’m not against it per se, just adding to the process of mindful choosing. If it works for you then g-d bless you.
